Just update software size 14+ MB, which says it will improve stability of the device. No change noticed at look and feel purely coz the change was internal. Device without that was also functioning great. build no got updated to DDLRB.

But i doubt this will be delayed cause its obvious that Samsung is trying to incorporate the new Premium suite features for S-Pen from Samsung galaxy Note 10.1 ,since in the leaked test firmware the S-pen features are missing. I have a note and I would say that samsung has done an excellent work on the note as it is awesome. I like it better than the SIII as it is bigger than it.

Ok, I finally rooted my Note after the warranty had expired! I was just researching on how to unlock it from the network I'm on, and here's the link that worked:

Be warned! I'm not responsible should you try this and things go wrong if you didn't follow instructions properly! All I'm saying is that it worked on my unit!
Then, yesterday, I had to do the noob mistake of lowering the CPU speed just to see if it could lower power consumption and it BRICKED after a restart!!! The same process didn't do anything and so I researched on having it working again and this guide on putting it back with Samsung's original ROM and kernel worked:

A fair amount of downloading the data needed had taken overnight and carefully reading and following the exact steps. I had to pay about $2+ for the SIM unlocker app which will only work on a rooted unit.
THIS IS NOT FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT CAREFUL as the instructions gave ample warning of what damage a wrongly placed script set could do.
Benefits of rooting that I'm currently enjoying are being able to read NFTS (via a free app) portable powered HDD; take out bloatware like Crayon Physics, Social Hub and the like; complete app + data backups. I'm still discovering more stuff for the next few days, and probably try out a couple of different good reviewed ROMs.
I do advise you not to do this if you are still within your warranty. I'm giving this open-lined Note to my wife since I'm getting a Note II soon.

I have brought this device sometime ago but facing some issue with battery usage. I can understand its a huge phone with huge battery but mine only last for single day and more over not complete day and m very easy on the internet and others things still can't understand the reason for battery depletion so quickly.
Please guys help me

But i feel its due to RAM refreshment.And this happens after every software update for few days and after that same story again :)!!!

Yesterday I had updated my note through kies
The base band version has changed from ddlr9 to ddlrb
The update is about 300MB
But after updating I didn't noticed even a single change
Every thing is normal as before.
Is samsung fooling us?
