Got my Galaxy Note N7000 today....Amazing screen I must say. Came with 4.04 ICS DDLR6 Build. Till now 5 hrs usage- Camera (both front n back), Calls, Message, Bluetooth, Audio, Video, Google Play working fine.

I like the apparatus. good speaker. good screen. good handling.
Battery life is another story. within 3 days needs juice. Within 3 days, even with six minutes telephone , the rest of the time idle, just standby, needs the cord. I changed the battery. Then some weeks standby time approx 5-6 days, before charging. Then again, life time of 3 days. Less than 10% of advertising over 900 hours standby
Good screen, bad batterylife.

I'd like to be precise - am using this phone for 2 months now and the experience in incredible. i very well know what I've paid and expectation are limited to that level; I've got the phone with 4.0.3 installed which i later updated to 4.0.4 with DDLR9 which i've just checked before posting my comment.
performance wise this is above average, though lag behind quad-cores and 2 GB RAMs. 5.3 inch screen is by an standard huge, and though its pretty common now in a city like mumbai - it still drawsa lot of attension.
Battery will continue to be an area of concern and i'm fine as long as it gives me 24 hrs battery life, i'd like to add - i play a lot of games and watch movies for almost an hour and keep data trasfer-wifi on for entire day. considering that - 1 day life is adequate as per android standards
build quality, music, touch sense and handling are all above par and owners need not to worry for couple of years until another mobile revoultion hits market.
Now I'm eagerly awaiting for Jelly Beans update, today i just check discussion to know if you guys have something to share - almost an hour back one of my friend has updated his SIII to JB, and I feel update is now available. since phone could not able to find one, I guess there are tricky ways to get it.
if i'm not wrong ICS update has come in 2 installments and only after 2nd update issues related to performance got resolved.
Now ending my ownership experience cum review cum point under discussion with a big smile and even bigger thanks to all you guyz who have helped me in picking the right instrument by providing uncountable reviews and feedbacks.
To those who are still undecided whether to buy 'original' Note or not, I'd say it one of the asset and you wont regret your decision, however if your budget permits Note 2 I'd definitely recommend the latest technology.

Does it has S3 like Nature UI homescreen or same as Gingerbread ?
