It this phone Work wit att 4g network

Anonymous, 17 Aug 2012I love the capibilty the phone provides. I'm now 2nd guessi... moreYes, it's honestly the battery if you actually use the Note. With such a dense screen, and the processes that it needs to function as a mobile computer that it constantly connected, it's no surprise that the battery will not last the entire day. I was constantly conscious about it running out before I got home during my first few weeks. I had a mobile power bank, but found it silly a wire coming out from a belt bag connecting to the Note while in public. So, I bought extra batteries and the official charger. I still use that power bank to charge my spent batteries in many bag, and so I could keep up my battery backups.

Yes, "all that trouble?" you say? If that's not your cup of tea, and you don't want to have extra weight in your bag, you can always charge at home. I advice you to get 2 extra batteries. The second one is just in case you're really guzzling up power because you are constantly using the Note all day like downloading torrents, games, GPS use, and internet browsing.

Some to tips that I do:
                        1. Install Juice Defender - it turns of radios (Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, data) and minimises the the frequency of syncing account like Facebook, emails and Twitter. The free version is good enough, but if you want to tweak some features and to get some more aggressive power conservation while idle, get the paid versions. It does not however conserve when you are constantly using the unit and you need to understand it is not an app killer. It stops the radios but keeps calls and text functions on when idle.

                        2. Tweak the stock internet browser to render the text and pictures so that the background will be mostly black and the text white. The less pixels on, the less power consumed. The down side is the pictures will be in negative.

                        3. Get a screen Brightness Level widget app to control your screen brightness. I think that auto brightness is plain annoying with the constant changing, and costumes more power with that process. Keep the screen to at least 25%.

These are the only advises I can suggest, while keeping your Note as to its capacity as a bad ass mobile computer that works when you need it, unlike using it for calls or text only (what's the point in that?). As for the size, my wife loves this thing more than the S3 because of the screen size. Remember, it was designed based on a pocket notebook. It's even thinner than my Moleskine.

I love the capibilty the phone provides. I'm now 2nd guessing my choice of phone because its rather big, I'm not able to hide it in my pant pockets, or bra, and the BATTERY is stupid! The phone has a CPU...and therefore the battery needs to be able to last in order to support the CPU..but it does NOT. My phone, after having it for about 3 months and the battery is now almost dead by the time I get home after work....Very frustrating.

I have had this phone for 10 days and it keeps losing signal and I cant receive phone calls or use the internetuntil I turn the phone off and on again, several times a day, after contacting Samsung they say it is my old sim card. I have replaced the sim card and it still drops all signal. I have now had to factory resett my phone after backing it up on Keis, I lost all my downloaded apps and info and it is still no better. I have a 2 year contract for a phone that does not even do the basic things. I don't know why I have to try a fix a product that is new and clearly faulty
