AnonD-3425, 26 Jul 2012Are you running ICS please? I get worst battery life on ICSIf you don't need it, turning off anything to do with text-to-speech increases battery life dramatically! By default the phone is listening for voice commands all the time. This wastes a lot of battery power. My SG Note (ICS 4.0.3) now has a battery life similar to my other device which runs Gingerbread 2.3.6.

Pl anybody tell me wat is d meaning of LTE 700 (region specific); will it complete support wen 4G comes ie upto 100Mbps & more ? I would like to tell that with 4G u can enjoy upto 1Gbps speed ; will

Are you not reading all the reviews....Better dont upgrade to 4.0.3 or 4.0.4....they are both battery eaters...ofcourse there are ways to solve this that are dont use radio, no live wallpapers, fuel_alerted problem and many ....better stick to 2.3.6 until they fix it...

My Galaxy note Android Version is still on 2.3.6 , how can I upgrade to 4. I think it can be upgraded as 4.0.4 is available. I tried to update via Settings>About PHone>Software update. but it says no update is available. Please advise at khan1431@gmail.com

-- why dont you use some good protecting case for your GNote? e.g. m.ebay.com/Pages/ViewItem.aspx?emvAD=640x323&emvcc=0&nborh=&nbpr=2&ebayref=/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
-- you must have too many widgets on your screen. Remove any extra desktop pages and keep only which are most required.
-- DO NOT USE ANY APP KILLERS! Android has a built in LMK which does this automatically for you. If you keep using app killers your apps will keep loading with a considerable delay.
-- Also, if your phone is under warranty you can anytime get your screen replaced from the service centre.
In the end apple is nothing in front of android. I bought mine for 32K and Im extremely happy with my purchase. Never forget:
ANDROID = FREEDOM
FREEDOM = POWER
If you face little lag in exchange of sheer power and unmatched freedom then its never that bad!

PLZ DON'T BUY DIS FONE PLZZZZ
though it has a very powerfur processor but actually it's very slow and often lags
my fone fell on d floor nd there is a green vertical line being displayed on the centre left side which is very disappointing nd my fone fell for the first time
the contacts takes 5 seconds to open nd some apps like ninja jump also don't gets open
so plz don't buy it
rather go for apple which having a bit slow processor is 10 times faster nd surely value for money
mind it i got dis mobile for 30000 rupees which is not less

i have this phone and i have a couple off jobs so walking and working works great for me. I find the battery life very ggod for my experience and that you can buy battery is fantastic too

I have this one and upgraded to ICS OS its really cool phone and it has huge screen which fits my work whenever or wherever I am. One think is the sound is just that loud.

Since it is a business phone and many users use it for work and some users just can't turn off the phone for 4-6h to charge the battery, they constantly need wifi or synch, etc. My only problem is that my device usage did not change since I bought them and for the first 3 months on both of my Notes charge was good for up to 48h. Now I can only get half of that.

As mentioned before in my previous post, I have 2 Notes, and I am considering getting an S3. From the spec I can't decide if that is a better device and should I go for it. I compared the devices here on the system and I can't decide.
Does anyone have any experiences with the Note vs S3 and should I get it? Primary functions I am interested in are: battery, speed, camera & data.
