Samsung Note , I would say its an awesome awesome mobile. I do prefer samsung than apple (main reason for their OS ANDROID). Only problem with this phone is that its little bigger. But overall its good as I got better deal from new website refered by my friends http://www.dealsfight.com/gadget/compare/samsung--galaxy-note-black/8873849364 .. I hope my review helped you people both in review and for deals.

I've been using both and I was wondering to move back to note while I've recognized your query :)
Both machines are excellent.
for S3 :
- really fast,
- notification led is superb (no more bberry)
- but no black case.. blue one is ugly enough..
white is ok but what about professionals.. :)
for Note:
- appeals me more than s3
- fast enough
- big size is a problem sometimes esp. when you want
to use it with one hand
- but appeals me more than s3
I recommend you wait until NoteII is released (september hopefully) if you can..

black clipping on played videos occurs only when the video clip/file you are playing has a low resolution. try hd video/movie on your GNote.

AnonD-63694, 20 Jul 2012You can upgrade and have a super note too, just use juice d... morejuice defender doesnt even save battery if anything uses more because its an extra app running in the background keep an eye on the task manager not the recent applications as swiping them away doesnt fully shutr them down and go to developer options in the settings menu and put a limit of say 2 background processes thats the best way to save battery keep wifi gps and auto sync of when not using aswell to save some more battery. no task killer app or battery save app does anything different to what you can do on the phone already.
