when will the official 4.0.4 update for GNote be available in the Philippines? the phone sold good here in our country, Samsung must consider prioritizing filipino customers for aftersale support.

I'm thinking between the Note or the S3 :s
... moreboth are great. it comes down to if you want the s pen and extra size. I never use the s pen but it's nice to have for some games and notes. S3 is newer but probably more expensive. If you look at tons of pictures and video, then the Note is incomparable.
I have noticed that the home button is much better than the S3 but i'm sure it's nothing you can't get used to. hope this helps

after using tis device..i relize tat .....
1. its still not the best ever smartphone
2. i dont likes its ics
3. need to over looking back to their system especially when we has download to much off data or software..it become hANG and outomatic turnn off and on
4. before..im useing apple ipad..people says..its android market get alot free software..ya..its really true..but half of the free is so rubbish and useless. the apple win bout tis.
5. not syncronize to fb account such like apple do. smsung need to open the page 4 getting on9 to fb manually.. need another software to do tis automaticlly.. i give 6/10

The main differences btw note and s3 is that note is bigger, s3 comes with d latest ice cream sandwich processor while note doesn't , s3 also comes with the latest Bluetooth technology, s3 also has a higher download speed than d note.. Hope it helps

I love it so much. been using this since 8 months ago. BUT! after updating android 4.0.3, it sucks, camera keep freezing & other app sometimes freezing even though i still love my note only hoping sammys will fix this.

HTC one x is LCD display where as Note is LED and you wont find any difference between quad core n dual core.. i strongly recommend galaxy note.. if you really want dual core - can wait for some more time n buy Note 2 which will release in a month or so..

and you might have noticed that the ICS is very buggy on the note..GB is by far the most stable...so go for HTC one X if you want the latest updates and a good feel of ICS

The Galaxy Note is by far the best phone Ive ever had. And after a week or 2 the size isnt noticeable AT ALL!

I have used both NOTE and S3.In my experience the ICS version browser of note is much much faster than s3's. Also heating is much lower in case of note .but in case of camera ,s3 is much better.watching movies in note is a spectacular experience.which is louder also.so now I am using note.i also own an ipad2 which is a great performer. We cannot compare it with smartphones.

The S3 is currently the most powerful Android smartphone with a quad-core processor, seeing it perform very well for myself. Don't get me wrong just yet - I've had this unit since mid-November and I love using it still for work and personal stuff. I've convinced 5 people to get it than the familiar iPhone - only to students and my fellow architects becuaase of the active Wacom stylus system the Note has, that can have useful features for sketching especially having pen widths controls.
It's really what you need. The S3 suits people who want a powerful smartphone without the S-Pen. I suspect that the Note 2 will be slightly powerful than an S3, with an S-Pen system again. But hey, as you said, an OS upgrade would be appreciated (to iron out some bugs we're experiencing). For those who would like to somehow match some of the S3's features, download Super Video for the Pop-up video feature, and ISeeYou for the Smart Stay feature. This is also a camera burst app somewhere in Google Play.

Ok I think I have figured out how to trigger fuel_alerted on the N7000. If you don't know what I'm talking about, google it! Anyways don't plug or unplug ur phone out of charger or usb with the lock screen on. Another way is that, don't let ur battery down to 5% before charging. At that moment the fuel_alerted is triggered and it will not go until you take out the battery and wait for sometime. Hope it helps, share if u find it valuable. Rgds ;-)

Buy s3 for now because it has better cpu, better Ics os than note, better feel in hand and pocket and..... You know one x is not as well as you see in videos or sites.GN is better than one X but s3 is more better than both.

i have just one query.... which phone sho... moreWith g-note getting d 4.0.4 update and hopefully d jelly bean, it would have no big difference with d s3 and its quad core. Looks wise, s3 looks and feels ugly. It is as if d s3 is designed for one hand use. When u turn it landscape, its design feels awkward. My black g-note is amazing and it doesnt have any of the problems posted here. Fell 3 times already and its still intact and unscratched. I wont trade it for an s3. S3 looks girly and it does not come in black. Only blue and white and reddish for at&t.
