Anonymous, 30 Jun 2012i am having the problem with the phone hanging up calls.. i... moreThe original V2.3 which came with the Galaxy Note is good. DO NOT install the ICS OTA. I used to be able to download free apps. and watch movies with V2.3.6, but after installing V4.0, not possible anymore...same happening to my friends Galaxy Note!!

i am having the problem with the phone hanging up calls.. i think it is due to downloading the icecream sandwich software. how do i fix the problem?? loveing the phone tho!

i have a map with .jpg format the size is 30 mb and 10000px X 10000Px but after uploading to the galaxy note it cannot view this jpg or pdf of this file in detail , with maximum zoom i cannot view real detail of my original jpg !! what can i do or this device cannot show large images ?

The automatic update of ICS has turned my amazing phone into an unstable mess, applications hang, every day I get some message saying your application has hung. arghh. If you get a the notification to update from GingerBread take care think twice, for all the great looking aspects of ICS its worth nothing when apps hang, I have gone back to the bad old days of the Windows CE mobile era, reboot everyday...I thought I had escaped the apple stability attraction :-( Praying for some kind of ICS Note fix!

Galaxy note has promising specs but a very lousy battery to back it up. I switched to this device due to 2500mah battery. This is my first android after 7 years of idevices. I can say that both ANDROID & companies making android phones suck. No one has identified the fact that andriod is the badest battery sucker. Whats the point if I am told to waste my time clearing RAM all the time, keeping low display and compromising on the number of apps I want to run to save on power?? I'm gonna give a last shot to the new Moto razor maxx but i'm really not expecting magic as Andriod will also gulp 3300mah battery down for starters before meal if I use the OS my way...

I got the same sucking update and got it fixed at service center. USB Storage will be flashed ! But one thing i learned in case of these service center guys, They dont have any sorts of uniformity.
For an instance, i went to repair my brother's corby along with my Note. First Sammy service center, they estimated amt as Rs 750. Second place, they estimated Rs 1783. I dunno how on earth they do estimation and how genuine it is :(
Your problem should be fixed at some other service center !
