I got the notification this morning around 10am Manila time that the update is available. But when the download started, it just disappeared and I'm unable to see it on the updates again. It just stated "No Update Available". Still stuck on 2.3.6... jhem of Manila

Guys!!i have one question for all Note users who hav already updated to ICS..
Does Updating to ICS wipes your data??Please Reply As soon as possible becoz i have lot of applications and games installed in my device and i don't wanna lose them.

Just Search Skype In Android MArket U will get it easily and just download and install it.Its FREE!!..Video calling is awesome just u need to enable it in skype settings since its not enabled in default...Cheers:)

just downloaded ICS is very good and fast , by the way it did not work via WiFi so i hade to do it with Kies , it took 50 min , I have Globe and is a mess all the time , so good luck

Upgraded my Note(Bought in India) to IC 4.0.3 today.
Will have to see how better is the new version.

Update already available here in the Philippines. Im downloading now 326.16MB over WIFI (OTA update)... i'll post later what's new after the update... im already at 12% downloading... so excited...

I'm from Hyderabad, India. I've upgraded my note two days back. There are two upgrades. First will be a Gingerbread update. Then there is a 319 mb ICS upgrade. Both OTA and Update via Kies are available in India. I updated my Note OTA. However, my brother's Note didn't get any upgrade OTA May be because he did not select software updates into ON mode. The second Phone therefore was upgraded using Kies. OTA upgrade was very easy and upgrade via Kies took almost one hour. ICS is really cool and blazing fast. Battery lasts long and charges very fast now.

do you see that some of google's apps version is 4.0.4 in GN ics.and i have aproblem that many apps are working when my phone is turn on.it is fast but they take many rams and use battery.how should i stop them? i force stop them but after a time they start working.

Today I updated the ICS on my Note through KIES. It's amazingly fast and with some improvements like face unlock, battery performance is better and better interface as well. Menu options increased and easy to navigate. Apps added. I can say, ICS and NOTE comination Rocks. This is the best. Advising GSMA to change the OS from GB to ICS in phone options page. No more GB in Note.
