AnonD-49695, 15 May 2012hi dear users! i have some doubts.please spend ur valuable... morePlug in the usb cable and let windows recognize it as a usb memory device then just drag and drop from windows to wherever you want on the note.

It's not restrictive like Apple, it just works!!!

    Regards

I have been using this phone from last few months and just to let all you guys know that its really a phone for the users that don't want to compromise with the performance and on the go usability.
Its got one of the best displays in the market and is the highest resolution phone in terms of pixels. Its 16:10 aspect ratio display is awesome to watch videos and the best for web browsing experience.
Battery life is very good depending on your usage.
Average is one day after doing one hour of web browsing, three hours of video playback and three hours of music. And after this still has got enough to carry itself for another day.
If you consistently keep browsing using full performance then it will last for four hours max because of no compromise browsing. Plays all flash and other content.
Call quality is exceptional and best I have experienced.
Camera is also of top quality.
S-Pen seems new and different. Good to do the editing and other stuff like that.
Use *#0*# to check out its hidden features.

For quite sometime now, i've been longing for a smart phone that has a specification like this samsung N7000. Haven read all previous coments, the bad and the good talk about the phone is 3:2. It seem to me; from previous comments that those complaints can be corrected. The question now is, should i purchase it? Please really in need of your answers.

                          hi everyone
I have been using galaxy note for around five months. It great device and i love it it is fast , easy to read and study on, great camera and sound, very nice interphase , great applications , and i am using it as pocket pc. But though few things can be improved
                          1. Battery life
                          2. Wifi signal is weaker than other mobile devices though router is like 7 meters away with two thin wall interphase
                          3. Touch point location in internet browser in landscape view is not very precise
4 if possible not to put the power button facing other buttons ending in pressing it when ever want to change the sound volume or vise versa
I hope samsung work on these point to get ultimate device
                          Thank u

BB74, 15 May 2012I have been Samsung Cell Phones user for long time, I will ... moreThe upper left volume rocker position really does annoy me when I accidentally bump it. And yes, the power button too.

There are a few things you could do about what the Note lacks:

*No led indicator for missed messages or calls - the No Led app seems to work out fine for that. I just use the tiny light indicator mode with different colors to correspond to what exactly you missed.

*Speaker is weak - I recommend to plug in your ear phones, better yet with stereo Bluetooth with remote media control. A wireless setup avoids accidental pulling of your Note to fall. I think the built-in speaker was just meant for sound alerts.

*No premium material - I can't complain about plastic (polycarbonate) as the main exterior casing as it takes a beating against drops and better signal transmission. It makes more sense to use it than aluminum that dents, and a back glass that shatters. The Note Carbon Blue version has a textured back plate while the white version is more prone to scratches since it's glossy. A thin silicon casing, at the least, can give protection. But for those who want a casing that really keeps your Note protected, spend a bit to what Otterbox has just came up for the Note.

*Camera - I've seen someone compared the quality against the Apple unit's camera, and the Note has a clearer HD video recording. I'm very happy with the still shots of the Note. I can't complain, and image transfer compared to the Apple unit does not require for me to go through a PC.

*Not a hot-swappable micro-SD slot - yeah, it's a hassle to turn off the Note and take out the battery to get the card out. At least it has one unlike some newer units that eliminated the slot. I did get the original USB dongle for transferring or sharing files to a USB flash drive.

*Short battery capacity - no, the Note's 2500mAh battery is quite ok, giving me 6 to 7 hours of heavy multi-taking usage. Medium usage will give me some 18 hours. As I've been preaching before, get yourselves extra batteries and the original charger. Continuous 3D gaming can spend the battery to zero in 4 hours. Unlike the fixed battery in some newer units, we can just replace the spent battery with a fresh one. Some people don't understand that smartphones are extraordinary portable units that able to do what we expect desktop computers to do, (but on your palm) and require much power to run processes. They can't be compared to normal dumb phones that go on for the entire working week on one charge.

Pretty much, the Note has been a very useful and impressive device for work and play for the last 6 months that I've been using it. The S Pen Wacom system makes this even more useful than any other smartphones out there.

I have been using this unit for about 3 months and here are my comments:-
                              Pros:
                              1. Screen size just nice, 2 in one, you carry phone and tabs
                              2. internet and application speed is excellent
                              3. graphic also not bad
                              4. sound quality and loudness is satisfactory

                              Cons:
                              1. agreed with previous user comments, power button location is better on top.
                              2. specification wrote with tv-out but actually not directly tv out like nokia e6 which can connect to tv directly but have to buy optional gadget, the cost is quiet expensive
                              3. should have seperately charging socket rather than sharing with usb port which may cause the usb port easily fault due to frequent usage (sync and charging sharing same socket or port)

Other than that generally this set is ok, I rate 8/10
