But at some point i started noticing these issues and it just makes me feel sad cos i really luv d fone. I was using d 1717 version but i sold it and got d N7000 version thinking i wld get a beter batery performance cos d 1717 batery drains out realy fast and it just gets so freeking hot somtimes.

Hi everyone , I have a litleproblm with my SGN wich I think is brilliand but this problm .
I have my general google mail acc (A) plus I have 3 or four others plus Yahoo acc. etc so I have (A) - (B) - (C) - (D) Mail accounts , ok when I send an Email from my (A) acc. to eighter my (C) or (D) or to anybodys acc. it will automatically send a cc. (copy) to my (B) account, but not if I send from ( C-D ) to (A) can anybody give me a clue ???

Try to uninstall Go launcher and locker,eventually, 90% of those problems could be solved by hard reset / cache wipe of your device, but allways back up your data before doing this :)

this is latest news about Ics:
samsung started rolling out Ics in canada and after that american galaxy note versions will get ics.and after america other countries will get Ics until end of Q2.(samsung.hdblog.it)
we don't know when we will get Ics in our country?
this news is the same for other selected devices but not say any thing about GTab7.7.

I just bought SGN. It is fine, except dat once in a while it will switch off and on by itself. Can anyone help me on this? I did download a few apps such as GO Launcher EX, GO Locker, Draw Something, etc and its a shame if I had to uninstall them for dis problem to stop. Please help. TQ.

Honestly, GSM Arena writers are putting down the pentile Super HD AMOLED too much! With such a minuscule size of the pixels, I can't even tell from the 217ppi of the S2 with the 285ppi of the Galaxy Note(which I own)!!! Now the S3 has even has a higher density of 306ppi, and yet people complain around that Super HD AMOLED screen is terrible!
The truth is, Super HD AMOLED is just brilliant! It's a non-issue when you see the screen with your own eyes, and not to believe on the microscopic analysis of the Pentile Super HD AMOLED's system of rendering with the RGB system of the AMOLED Plus - they both look absolutely brilliant to the naked eye!
Who looks at a smartphone's screen with a microscope?! This is a silly issue amongst very serious tech geeks. I would only complain if the ppi is lower than 200ppi for a premium phone.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? If symptoms still the same, factory reset should be the next option. Don't forget saving and backup your files before doing the reset. Be aware though, that a continuous usage of internet browsing or HD games can make the battery drain some 4 hours.
Juice Defender only works when your phone use in idle, not when you use it. It turns off radios, like 3G, wifi & Bluetooth of the Note when not needed. It checks for updates via network briefly from time to time.
The best practice is to have extra batteries if you are a heavy user. You would also need to get a battery charger.

just leave asphalt 6 on pause for 2 minutes put the phone on table and it heats up near the camera module
1 hr of wi fi 30 minutes of songs battery is less than half
juice defender installed of no help...
so far unable to find any solution

My battery does not last more than 4 hrs after 100% charge. I have even downloaded juice defender but it still doesnt solve the problem. When i am surfing the web it drains so fast. Sometimes when d fone is idle it just gets so hot and the battery discharges. Please does any1 have the same issue? And does any1 have a solution. Help! Cos i luve the galaxy note.

James, 06 May 2012No it wouldnt! quad core at 1.4 ghz would kick 1.8ghz out t... moreSure, if you're running a 64bit version of windows, and running multithreaded apps and programs optimised for quad cores, but in the Android world, where Samsung takes the smooth vanilla android, stuffs it with TouchWiz, making it slower than a 100 year old turtle, and where basic stuff like fruit ninja or doodle jump take about a year to be updated, you're better off with a dual core. Plus, the only way all apps and games will get multithreaded performance upgrades is 6 months after Apple introduces a quad core processor, and app devs think, "I'm bored. Might as well put out an Android version".
Don't get me wrong, I'd choose Android over iOS but the comparatively abysmal support (and Sammy's talent to slow down an already fluid UI) is really a disappointment.

A few days ago I was wondering if I should bought this phone or wait for the galaxy s3 but I risked on this one and I was afraid of get regretted but I think I have made the right choice! The s3 thats a very good phone but for me the note is the real beast! The s pen, the huge 5,3 display...this is real innovation! Dont u agree with me? Ant soon it will have the ics!
