This is the phone where initially i said, NO WAY! way too big, but later... when i have hands on, i start to like it,,, and then i made a purchase now after a week of using the white one, I definite LOVE it... The screen, the slimness and the lightness. the weight if compare to S2 it bit heavy but since the big screen, and thin, some how it's hidden some where that you don't feel it... THE ONLY WORD IS "AMAZING !"

perceived resoluti... moreI don't know why somebody wrote the pentile system as that. However, if you compare it with Super AMOLED "Plus", the visual perception is unnoticeable. Honestly, the pixels are so darn small to notice with your naked eye that the is no perceived difference weather it's 231, 282 or 312 pixels per inch, unless you are using a magnifying glass.
The Note's HD Super AMOLED is very brilliant, clear and renders magazine-like pictures. It has a setting if you'd like it to be less saturated and "normal" rendering. It renders deep blacks, and it's much clearer than even the IPS LCD screens against daylight.

I have been using the NOTE (White) for almost over a month now and i got to tell you THIS IS ONE AWESOME phone ..
Super Smooth and super Fast and features are amazing super ,Fully charged Battery lasts a FULL DAY when used heavily. Well that screen is just absolutely amazing ,Video camera (HD) / picture quality / in call features r simply unmatched .
Don't worry about how big the phone is (it riily isnt ) ,you will definitely get used to it in abt 2 days and once you are deeply in love with that awesome Huge HD Super AMOLED screen ,you will have a tough time liking any other mobile phone out there at the moment
you simply can COUNT on this phone and you will never ever feel LONELY ever AGAIN when you have this phone !! :) that's how GOOD this Phone is! Its such a beautiful beautiful thing !!!

HI to all people. I have been using my note since 5 months. Just to let the people who are complaining about sound, go to settings/accessiility and uncheck mono audio. U will then hear that the galaxy note does have an above average sound quality. Remember to uncheck the mono audio. It normally comes by default when buying the phone

i love samsung. I will just buy it. I been using for a week. I m impressed with samsung note. Previously i was so hesitate to buy but now i think i have done best thing by buying this model.

Am having the same issue as u mentioned. my fren told me not all galaxy note having this problem. u can notice your phone's black level when you open the original calculator app. from there, you shall notice the different. you can make comparison easily with few other notes. i went to samsung service center, they ask me to send in the phone but i was reluctant as no extra phone for me then. my fren told me he read from forum that it is software issue with the contrast level, you need to root the rom. but i was not able to do so. hopefully the ICS update can help to resolve the problem. i know the screen looks ugly when the smudgy edge comes up especially watching online movies.

but in previous comments, i can c tat "the audio quality in headphones r poor, so v should install some audio apps,but still d audio quality is poor" n so on...tats y i bit afraid n also i don use any Ipods or MP3 players fr my sennheiser headphones :)...im plannin to buy dis NOTE by next week..i got no other options :)

Currently im using Sony Ericsson xperia mini pro with Senheisser PX200 II headphones...audio quality is very good...Since im a audiophile, im xpectin the same or above the quality of sony...will this Samsung Note satisfy me?...
