I have been using the NOTE (White) for almost over a month now and i got to tell you THIS IS ONE AWESOME phone ..
Super Smooth and super Fast and features are amazing super ,Fully charged Battery lasts a FULL DAY when used heavily. Well that screen is just absolutely amazing ,Video camera (HD) / picture quality / in call features r simply unmatched .
Don't worry about how big the phone is (it riily isnt ) ,you will definitely get used to it in abt 2 days and once you are deeply in love with that awesome Huge HD Super AMOLED screen ,you will have a tough time liking any other mobile phone out there at the moment
you simply can COUNT on this phone and you will never ever feel LONELY ever AGAIN when you have this phone !! :) that's how GOOD this Phone is! Its such a beautiful beautiful thing !!!

Android 4 update with exclusive premium apps for the Now is coming soon. HTC has a track record with battery problems. It's not all about having a quad core processor.

The quality on pics etc. The only draw back is the battery don't last as long considering all it does. All the same, its successor has quite a challenge

Joe, 13 Apr 2012As far as GUI is concerned galaxy note does a fantastic job... moreThe note has mediocre sound quality. It can however be improved using the following:
1) Use PlayerPro and download the DSP pack. It makes a big difference.
2) Use high quality FLAC files. Playing FLAC files on my Note sounds way better than the (same) ALAC on my iPod Touch.
3) This is the most important point: USE BETTER EARPHONES/HEADPHONES. The stock earphones are horrible quality because,..well..., they're stock earphones! When was the last time anyone ever said: "Hey these earphones that came with my phone sound better than the sennheiser/bose/audio technica I bought?" The note can drive even big cans, and granted the audio is not spectacular, but its certainly not unbearably poor either. Use some good in-ear headphones so you don't have to jam it in your ear. If you can spend this much on a note, you can certainly get some good headphones to go with it.
