I never wanted to buy a tablet. It's just way too much to travel around with mainly when you already have a laptop. I wanted something in-between with all the functionality I need in terms of communication, planning and editing. I'm impressed by this set. Samsung did a fantastic job. Why I would go for an iPhone when I have something offering more.

Guys pls who have updated to LB2 version in india which is a 8Mb update. Can anyone pls tell whether i should update to it or not currently i am using the KL3and when i am searching for update it shows a 72mb update available which is KL5 update and after that update of LB2 is available as per comments.. Should i update or keep my phone on the current version and wait for ics.... My main issues arewhether Dial Pad is supporting one hand operations & battery life when data mode is on and a little lag while scrolling through homescreens. Reat all is fine...
Pls HELP THAT I SHOULD GET THE UPDATES OR NOT??????

Make sure Auto Update and Push Message are checked. Unchecked Wi-Fi only if you are not using Wi-Fi network. After clicking on Update, click on "OK" to show you if their is an update available for your Galaxy Note.

This is a nice phone and tab. It is toooo fast. Long battery life. Nice look. One who use it never think about i phone. It is very big for some people. S pen is a big specification for this type of phone. The screen is out standered. Pixel density is very high. This is a super phone. My favourite..............

NZ, 02 Mar 2012i did 7.24mb update. Nw my phone works faster thn b4... but... moreI've got that too. the phone goes faster and smoother. I think that was for some bug fixing

Do you know that you can browse map even if you have no coverage at the area. How to do that?
Use Precache map area function when you have connection and download it.
Select Settings
Select Labs
Check Precache map area...........This is to enable it.
How to save selected area?
On the map. Press and Hold. Location Area pop-up. Click on >
Precache map area option available...Click it.
It will be save to your phone.
Done!

hi fellas...galaxy note new kernel version is LB2... lemme give u the change logs for this particular kernel version..
Should be better, enhancement and performance update.
Some few changes:
-lock icon becomes bigger
-slight increase in performance
-scroll runs smoothly (but not so noticeable from previous changes )
-opening application becoming faster.
-better voice control
-Samsung keyboard in portrait mode again become slightly larger

Can someone please help me with one thing that concerns me about buying this phone,and that is,is it possible to use it with one hand (like make a call,or smth like that)....and one more thing,i don't have big hands,i could say they are normal size,neither large,nor small...???
