Hi everyone.I am going to buy a Galaxy Note. But as I am in Argentina I will have to buy the one made in Argentina. I wonder if this will be the same with the others? (will all functions stated in this web-site be available?). Because I will have to carry it with me all over the world.

i updated my note last nyt to 2.3.6.. i have notice that my:
kernel version is: N7000DXKL2
is it the same with: N7000XXLA1
my build number: GINGERBREAD.DXLA1
is it the same with: XXLA1?
ANYONE HELP??

You will still probably get a Gingerbread Note even this March or April! You can just save your precious contacts on your PC! I find it so silly you are holding out in getting the Note with such shallow reasoning! So stop it and just get it!

Anonymous, 06 Feb 2012why would you need to transfer them over again updating the... moreand also no it probably wont any notes that are going to be bought or old in march are probs already sat in a warehouse with gingerbread on and i dout they can be updated while sat in the box with no battery in a nd no sim so even if you wait til march youl probs have to do the update yourself anyway

The difference it will make is that if i buy Note now i will have to take my contacts and other backup from my current phone and load it into note, after that in march when Android 4.0 comes, i will have to again take all the back up of contacts and everything from note and then load Android 4.0 then again load the contacts and other back up in note... all this only for like a month which i can wait... So that's y i asked if Android 4.0 is released then will the phone come box packed with Android 4.0 or not??

can this samsung galaxy note use s-pen to take notes on evernote? Is it convenient? I would like to write instead of typing and that's the reason I m considering to buy this.

nazmul, 01 Feb 2012I've been using note for the last two weeks. I like everyth... moreif you dont put sim card the battedy will drain more faster as it continuos searching for signal.its normal to recharging cycle for about 2-3 weeks first before you get real battefy life time.

I have decided to buy note bu... moreyou will have to upgrade it to ics yourself, as far as i know, all android deviceses come with the first android version that it came with when it was sold for the first time, anyway, you can upgrade it easly and it won't void your warrnty if you flashed it to an offical rom and if you did it right,believe me, buy it know before samsung releases other variants and you won't find the international verson easly.
