Tkwee, 28 Jan 2012Galaxy note only can store one phone number under one name,... moreYes you are wrong I'm afriad. By default, as with most Android devices, it stores your contacts in your Gmail account, which can store multiple numbers under a single contact entry. Many of my my conatcts have more than one number, plus at least one email address. I would never recommend storing numbers on the SIM card as they are not backed up by default and in this event you can only have one number per contact. This is a limitation I have seen on every phone, Symbian, Windows or Android for many years when using the SIM card to store contacts.

[deleted post]Those are not Blackberry original features. You can find them originally from Nokia and Sonyericsson units way before Blackberry had a market except the optical tracker. I still have those on my Samsung Omnia Pro B7330 which runs on WM 6.5. Try out the Swype feature of Samsung. It's fast texting.

I've been using the note for a week now. Having used galaxy s2 and the note I can tell any future buyer that galaxy note is the best phone ever made to date.

Demetrius, 27 Jan 2012True facts: Fully charged , from 8% to 100% (4,5 hours o... moreDid you have your 3G Data and Wifi on while playing? They drain power quite much. That's why you can use Juice Defender that tureens pdf the phone's radio when not needed, while it just checks for updates from timer to time.

Have you already discharged and recharged your new battery at least 5 cycles? New batteries aren't in sync yet, and they can only last like 4 hours total normal use. I noticed that when I got a new one for backup and better cycles management.
The battery longevity becomes longer after.

I use my Note starting 6 am, with internet music on and listening via Bluetooth. It drains about 8% to 10% after some 45 minutes. I go through my normal day with using my Note using the Polaris spreadsheet for my class attendance, and grading on the spot for my students' assignment work after an hour's lecture. I keep my Note handy during that 4 hours studio class. I browse the internet at breaks, and reading PDF at times. My Note's battery is drained at around 3 pm in the middle of my 2nd studio class. That's when I change to a fresh battery. This means I get like a good 9 hours with about 1.5 hours of not touching my Note while eating and walking about. So, I can say I get a good 7 hours total of productive use of my unit on one charge.

The 2nd battery will last me the rest of the day with internet music and Bluetooth stereo earphones, games, browsing and downloads. I just charge the extra one with a separate charger and plug in my Note for the next day. I do this rather than complain about it not lasting a day. It's a simple matter of just opening the back side and replacing the battery.
