the stylus works on screen not on the capacitive menu and back buttons,but samsung cared for that by providing gestures with stylus, press the button on stylus and swipe right to go back and swipe up for menu no matter on what page you are.......but till now no smartphone has led flash for front facing camera,its the sensor you think for flash...................

Does note have led light notifications like if v get a msg or a msd cal is there any led notification to show it..?note users plz answr...

Just bought the Note, installed... more...Kies air doesn't need usb connection. just turn on your wireless on the laptop, or better still you can tether your note as a wifi transmitter.....go to settings>wireless and network>tethering and portable devices>select portable wifi hotspot. make sure you have enough airtime or unlimited plans.

Please all need quick help. Just bought the Note, installed Kies but it doesn't read the phone, and the phone is not read as a USB device. Any quick advice?

stylus can b used on back button...in my note stylus is not wrking on back button...n one more thing want to ask beside front camera there is led...how it can b on? what is itz use..i m new to high range mobile.plz answer

True facts:
Fully charged , from 8% to 100% (4,5 hours of charging ).
Everything disabled and i mean EVERYTHING . From Sync, to Black desktop backround for a better economy. Bear in mind that im not having NOTHING , absolutely NOTHING on my desktop, not even shortcuts. Just a black screen with a small logo of the Windows. I restart my phone, do a small RAM clearance, and i played for 25 minutes, Slotmachine. From 100% went to 89% !!!! In 25 minutes = 11% battery! Brightness to the minimum. Total crap. Sorry Samsung

It's how much power consumption depending on how heavy tasks you use your Note with. Some off us use internet browsing a lot and that makes the battery life shorter. You don't expect different people use it the same. Tell us, enumerate what apps and at how much time you use for each for your one day use. That sounds more like light to moderate use. Try browsing for 4 hours straight, and you'll find battery drained. Stop posing as a Samsung employee and pimping your Facebook group.

don't know why some people r facing battery issues ... with me it's working absolutely great ... i get a battery of 1 day easily even if i use my phone heavily

GP, 27 Jan 2012I have the SGN now 3 days , and the batery last only 12 hrs... moreIf you use it moderate to heavy, 12 hours usage on one charge is normal. Even with Juice Defender, since I use the Note extremely often with Bluetooth and 3G always on, it gives me up to 7 hours average. Trust me, I cycle 3 original batteries for my Note rather than plug in all the time. I recharge the drained ones with a separate charger. No way I want to worry about running out of power or finding a power outlet all the time... Ever!
I rather fully use the Note freely like this. I just carry 2 extra batteries that guarantees me mobile power 24/7. I just can't complain about its battery capacity not lasting with how I heavily use my Note. That's the limit since it had a powerful processor and heavy pixel screen.

[deleted post]Mine lasts 6 to 7 hours of just about everything - games, browsing, camera, movies - CONTINUOUSLY. I use my Note very extremely heavy. I just change to fresh battery.

the phone galaxy note is absolutely fantastic...now the only concern is battery life if the battery lasts for more than 15-16 hrs then this is a winner among current lot of phones, truly iphone 4s beater ! if some actual user of galaxy note can inform about battery life it would be helpful to ppl planning to buy note .

For those worried about battery: Root the device and freeze wifi sharing and sharing manager. Same on my S2. Stock was only 8 hours. Rooted and optimized I was getting 14-16 hours easy.

My first and Last android phone. I have used the iphone for the past two years much easier to use. while the phone is good (battery life not a problem I chage every night anyway)I think among the Andoid phone it's about the best. I had an HTC before with windows mobile 6 and that was much easier to use. the music player on Android ...........sucks.
