I am thinking of getting this for my upgrade, but i am worried its durability in long term (it's high quality plastic, i know) as I am using HTC with its aluminum body, which is really durable (tripped the charging cable and the phone was slammed really hard onto metal table leg, but nothing happened, except for some paint loss)..
Not that I am saying it's not durable like some other glass phone, but coming from aluminum phone, i wonder how it will fare against my own abuse (I dropped/toss/slide-on-the-table/slammed my phone quite often)

I love the power and features but not enough to get the S2. I think you should still stick to your S2 if you don't need the S pen to do digital art. Not much point in bumping up to another inch of screen or just the processor if you would complain of "not able to operate it with just one hand". if I had the S2 first than the Note, I can probably stick with it for another 2 to 3 years. But if you have an extra $700 to spare for the awesome Note, there's not much point in having 2 powerful phones at all times.

I think Samsung Galaxy Note is the best thing that has ever happened to mobile phones! It is so thin, it looks so light, and its ultra futuristic looks will surely ensure it a winner all the way! I sooo wanted to get this phone a couple of months back but sadly, it was not available at that time. So i ended up buying the second best, Samsung Galaxy S II. The S II is the best mobile phone i had ever had the pleasure of owning. It simple rocks! I need an advice here with the tech savvy owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note. SHOULD I BUY the Galaxy Note or should i stick to the Galaxy S II? One major thing that compels me to go for the Note is the bigger display and the seemingly faster processor speed of 1.4 GHz as compared to the 1.2 GHz of the S II...I LOVE SAMSUNG...but i would really appreciate it if anyone could give me advice...

I have bought the galaxy S II a couple of months back. I wanted the Note but it was still not available at the market at that time even though it was being advertised on TV. I just love the Galaxy S II. Here is my dilemma. I want to get the note due to its bigger screen size and seemingly faster processor speed of 1.4 GHz as compare to S II 1.2 GHz. I need to keep a tab on the stock market at all times so the bigger display and the faster processor seems to make better sense as opposed to the minimal price difference. Would really appreciate it if any of u guys out there with hands-on experience on the Note could give me advice. Should i stick to the S II or should i go for the Note?.....thanks in advance.

Best phone ever..both the cameras are excellent..shes a real beauty..easily fits in my jeans..without much internet usage i managed to get almost 2 days battery backup..really great phone..highly recommended

I have used Samsung Galaxy Note for quite a while now but I have found two problems. The "Notes" in "My Profile" is limited to 32 lines only. Second, if you have multiple contact numbers for the same person and if you have sent a SMS, you would not know to which number did you send the SMS. These are two problems I need to live by.
