I would like to know whether I need to convert the video files I have (.avi/xvid/divx) to mp4 format to watch on the galaxy note.If I do that one,I can use my Nokia 5800.I also would like to know whether the note can play online videos like megavideo,divxmovies etc.

AnonD-35970, 01 Jan 2012I finally saw it first hand last night. It is really huge! ... moreWhen I first saw the Galaxy SII I fell in love with it. Then came the Galaxy Note - I have cheated on the SII for one simple reason: the pleasure of freehand drawing.
As a graphic designer I'm never further than a step away from a Wacom Intuos tablet. The fact Wacom designed the S Pen for the Note says it all. Just imagine the possibility of drawing stuff on photos you just took, jotting down notes, sketching your girlfriend/boyfrien and so on.
I understand I'm coming at this from a whole new angle (the S Pen is supposed to be e business feature) but for the big screen and the Wacom S Pen alone I'd recommend this handset to anyone.
Unleash you inner child or artist and have fun with the Note if the price tag is not an issue.

I believe that it is a problem or a bug with the SG Note. I only can copy to the device files under 4gb. I don`t have that kind of problem with SG SII.
I ask to replace it but the second one has the same problem, so that I think this is a bug...

Mobilemaster, 01 Sep 2011The only problem is that it's too big to fit in your pocketIt does not look silly making a call with it. Hold a small A6 sized notebook against your ear. That's how big it is. We are not use to the size before.

The Note can fit in shirt top pockets, and normal jean pockets. The 5.3" HD super AMOLED screen and pixel density make reading, typing, drawing and watching so much easier than anything smaller. You can a always get a flat waist pact, like that of Pacsafe, our a belt mounted holster. Those who complain on the size rather than see the potential of what the Note can do can do well with the Galaxy SII. The Note can be for the artistically inclined, or probably one who enjoys games on a bigger screen like the PSP, but this one really fits a pocket with its less than 10mm width. Or whatever, really, with the advantages of a bigger screen and the Wacom S pen that comes with it without the hassle of carrying a 7" or 10" tablet.

Moses, 02 Jan 2012hi. when ever iam using internet if i press the screen long... moreIt copies the screen shot to RAM (same as in a PC). Just open a desired app and choose PASTE from within the app itself. Hope this solves your problem :)

hi. when ever iam using internet if i press the screen long time three option will appear so when i copy the page it shows copied to ClipBoard. when i come out to check where it is i could'nt see anywere in the mobile apps so plz solve my problem if anybody knows about it...

when I update my Note to 2.3.6, it says "Processing faild, try again". Has anyone come across this problem especilly in South Africa and how does one sort this out? I realy want the new update.

i had purchased samsun galaxy note just 2 days back
when i opend the box i found there was no pouch supplied from the dealer when i asked him about this he replied me that since the company wants to reduce the prices has cut off giving free pouch with the purchase.
second: thing this is an expensive unit the company should provide a detaled operating book which they have failed to do so.
third: the color of the body is black wgere as the color of the erphone supplied is white, how can i expct such a big error from the company like samsung, this means the packing department are least intrested to check the the proper things before the dispatchs.
so now what should i do further to get my pouch for the hand set and the black color earphone pls advise me

For calls I'm using Sony Ericsson MW600 Hi-Fi Wireless Headset, best bluetooth headset for Galaxy Note, superb sound quality. Just go for Galaxy Note with Sony Ericsson MW600.

whr d hell tv output option is...m hvng d cable...but unable to find it...in mah old cell galaxy s it ws thr in setting >display>tv. .. but in note it isnt...wat to do..???
