i bought my Note with android version 2.3.6 pre-installed, so i didn't make any updates for my Note till now, and no updates are available when i check !!

Have u updated ur firmware from 2.3.4 - 2.3.5 & then 2.3.6
If yes let them installa fresh copy of os ...
Hope this will resolve ur problem .....
I know its an irritating problem and they dont work until u restart.....

The decision to buy or not to buy the Samsung Galaxy Note is an easy one. If you have a problem with its huge size, the Galaxy S II or 4S is a better for you.
However, if the size and price are not deal-breakers for you, then I can whole-heartedly recommend the Galaxy Note for its best in class performance and treasure trove of features....
Remember there's no such a perfect Phone, that's part of their technology. otherwise no one will buy the next generation of Phones Coz you have already the perfect one....

I finally saw it first hand last night. It is really huge! It is much, much bigger than the Galaxy Nexus and like two iPhones. But the screen is amazing. I'm really split, should I go for this or the Nexus. Apparently though it's been selling really well goo.gl/ViXrs.
My though is ok it's not comfortable when talking on the phone, but I only make 4-5 calls a day, I mostly message and I can just use a handsfree.
Anyone out there can help me make up my mind?

I have a dual sim Samsung. I cannot change to Note without buying an additional mobile. A big Note + an additional phone is one too much. Dual sim for Note, please.

Jj, 01 Jan 2012I got my Galaxy Note two days ago. It is AMAZING! Fast, scr... moreyep. Sometimes it happens to me, so i press home button and it show the screen again. It seems to be caused by the interface between the sensor and the software, it is a lag. My droid is updated to 2.3.6. Lets wait for another updates. Doesnt seems to be a hardware problem, considering it work in many times. I pay more attention to the slow speed of the phone, doing many tasks, like rolling down/up the browser while in a page full of pics. I had a S2 before this phone, and i can tell that is a lot more fast than this. Probably because of the screen resolution, it needs as much processing as it have. =\

overall good.......but battery life sucks.. if extensively used it wont last more than 18 hrs

Hi every one... i have a serious problem with my Note, it's the touch keys !! it stop working suddenly and many times, i have to restart my phone to fix the problem for a while then it happens again !!! i hate that really
Plus... sometimes it lag and giving me a massage like PC (force to close app) in landscape during watching movie or a video on you tube or listening to a song !!!
i do appreciate if someone have any idea about these problems and whats the solution !!! do i have to change my Note with another one ????
