Why use such an odd name like "phoneblet" for this category? Why not call this category as - "NOTEPAD"?

We can have 3 distinct categories:
        1) Phone Handset,
        2) Notepad, and
        3) Tablet.
        .

jYEAH! R, 16 Sep 2011does it have a strap/lanyard hole in it? anyone? No place for connecting a carrying strap, which I did have on Galaxy S and Galaxy S2. I would like to have this option, as it is too expensive to accidentally drop the Galaxy Note!

Does anyone facing problems copying large files (blue ray files) to SG Note?
                Is it a configuration problem?

Mine has excellent ear speakers. it heats up only during heavy processes. Turn on your tasks widget and have a look at what apps are utilizing the processor and you can turn them off.

I Just bought my Note a month ago.
This is def the best piece on the market right now, however, i have experienced certain glitches there.
Everyone knows battery issues are there, and rightly so, its one big ass screen the battery has to support, but there are times when the phone slows down drastically, and then i need to reboot the handset.
It does get hot alot and also, the voice quality, isnt the best, so u need to use the hands free.
these are small glitches, but they can be worked around, for everything that the phone delivers.
Iam happy with the buy for sure.

My phone running under EDGE with T mobile, is there an option I can change or upgrade to 3G in the future?

AnonD-33864, 29 Dec 2011when you say iphone is "almost" trouble free... w... moreSince the iPhone units have been open to the competition carrier here, both have dived with their offers. Imagine paying for the iPhone for $58 for a monthly $46 unlimited data plan locked for 24 months! I have the same plan but I got the Note for free and with one month waived! That's how they are valuing the iPhone more than the Note. A lot of people aren't sure what does better.

Even if the iPhone's price and plan is slashed in half, I'm still sticking to the Note. I can't settled for anything less than the Note's vivid screen, performance and functions.

I only tried on Note. and yet to get mine from the carrier's package.

Despise of the cost and carrier charges. would you consider to get the iphone 4S.

really appreciate your feedback since your occupation is quite similar as mine.

This is to respond to Heavy User King's question I from the IPhone 4S forum:

I say thank God there are choices other than Apple units! Apple has stepped up the competition for the last 5 years, and Jobs had forced the phone industry to change to a higher level of portable technology. The IPhone was designed for convenience, trouble-free (almost) and the has the best market. Half the people I interact with everyday owns one. However, I needed something more than those fancy touch interface, and was disappointed when Apple made it expensive and supposedly exclusive. There was only one carrier that carried it and it was still very steeply priced for my need to call and sms.

I never even seriously considered the Galaxy S series with their Super AMOLED screens being bigger and vivid. Enter the Galaxy Note - the S pen is something I have wished portable technology integrated too work similar to Wacom's innovative desktop touch screen digital tablet for digital graphics. I sketch a lot and I am part of Urban Sketchers who do on-location sketching. The Note answers my needs more than any other phone right now. Android is decent and have no problems.
