They ditch Nokia and works on Tizen with Samsung who is the true leader in this industry and cutting edge the technology.
and Galaxy Note is another example of that :)

I must say I do not agree with all the "doom and gloom" merchants saying it will look silly when used as a phone. It is not that much bigger than the Galaxy S2 and defintely not that much than the HTC Titan. I remeber using a Nokia 2110, going back in time, and it looks better than that ever did in that regard and back then we thought nothing of it.

To All owner of Galaxy Note, i just want to ask, does galaxy note support video playback .MKV 1080p video file?
the video codec support is it same with Galaxy S2? i own Galaxy S2 i'm considering Galaxy Note if the video support about the same with Galaxy S2, because i can play all my full HD 1080p videos any file format very smooth in my SGS2.

I had a look round Slough and Staines on the weekend Phones4u had one in stock. The staff from O2, T-mobile, Orange and Vodaphone had not even heard of the Galaxy Note yet let alone know if it was in stock. It was like watching Phoneshop on C4.

After using this baby for a few days all I can say is wow wow wow. It is amazing. Finally a perfect phone in everything way with a huge keyboard thus ending the frustrations when typing and correcting typos on a touch screen. Well done Samsung. Enjoying the speaktoit assistant app from android gingerbread making Siri on the iPhone seem obsolete when comparing the two which I urge you to do.

Samsung released this on the 3rd November it's now the 6th and know where has it in stock! Iv try carphone warehouse , phones4u, O2, orange, Vodafone, please can someone tell me when and where I can get this handset please.

this is awesome... a large high-res display will give you some different feelings about a handy device. and also GPU and CPU are so powerful.

Can someone tell me when I can get this phone in the uk on contract? They said it would be available on the 3rd November it's now the 6th and no one has it in stock!

oh yes... samsung SGH-F400 had Digital Natural Sound Engine DNSE v2.0, and music recognition. it would have been nice from samsung if they would have integrated these features into their android phones especially begining from the GT-i9000. these features are just amazing and very helpful!
