my Note dropped for a lot of times and got dents, but still it works smoothly and even the screen didnt break. two thumbs up for Note1. Great Phone ever.

I bought the Note about 8 months back. Pros and Cons about the phone is as follows:
Pros:
Screen: With 5.3 inches the screen is good to play movies and videos. HD quality is quite good though not comparable to S3 or Galaxy S4.
Sound:Speakers are very powerful and you can easily play songs without Headphones.
Call quality /Texting: Smooth as butter.
SPEN: Good Spen to draw pictures.
Camera : 8 Megapixel camera with 1020Pixel Video recording capability. Camera is definitely better than Canvas HD camera as I have compared both.
CONS:
1. Battery issues: I have faced 2 battery issues over the past 8 months. First the battery was draining after using only 2 hours of browsing. I gave it to service center and they gave me a new battery. Now with this battery I am finding a new issue. When I keep it for charging in the night it takes almost 12 hours to charge and sometimes it dosent even charge fully. Though display shows as 100% Charged when I power On the device it shows as only 75% charged.
So Battery problems is a major issue with Note.
Overall this would have been a fantastic phone if it did not have the battery issues. I think my piece was defective. If u are lucky to get a good piece without any battery problems then it is a fantastic phone.

Jelly bean is great on my phone never a lag was found greal i lov u samsung ..i suggest users to use all in one tool box and use its quick boost as a wiget and just give a boost ....... and try to avoid using smart stay and multiwindow coz it needs atleast 2 gb ram thats the main reason to slow u r fone & drain battery ;-)

Go on the settings menu on your Note, look for the option "About Phone" (should be the last option from the top) and when you get to the software or android version, look for the option "check for software update". Good luck!

i still using ICS for my note 1. i understand by service centre engineer. Using ICS better than Jeli Bean because Jeli Bean are not stable，can drain off bettery fast，handphone are easy hang. they suggest use back ICS. BUT i notice by using ICS handphone are runing worse than GB 3.2. Because the storage of handphone are seperate to 3 storage.
1 for apprecation strorage 1.97GB（too small）for and creat phone hang. like other phone run by GB are combine and more GB For install app. Mr Sumsung pls do something for better update. because note N7000 is high end phone and should can run smooth in GB becouse yr sumsung engineer are mistack. plssettle this issue. any body can replay this？

This is one the best handsets i have ever used,the screen was a gamble as I had no idea if it would fit in the pocket turns out it's the perfect size,I have enjoyed everything on the Note so much i've used since an year and a half and still it rocks better than most flagship mobiles,the screen never outdates..

I had use this phone for two year now, is a good phone. Better that Galaxy Mega :p
