M not satisfied with nougat update it's drain battery fast
And lag give more software update more to fix this problem

For those, who are facing problems after Nougat Update, Please do factory reset of your mobile. Your all problems will be solved. Also freshly install all the apps after factory reset. Do not use USB or Cloud backup except Contact List.

Before updating it lasts for one day after minimum 14 hours of heavy usage .
But after upgrade to nougat it hardly lasts 10 hours of normal usage.
Heavy usage means browsing internet for minimum 8 hour and watching video for 1 hour and playing game for minimum 1 hour
Normal usage mean using whatsapp for 1 or 2 hour browsing internet for 15 min and no game .
Also mobile has started hanging vigorously. Before update it never hanged after heavy use .

Received a 60 MB update on my Galaxy On8. Everything is pretty much the same. What's New?
Samsung Pay Mini is finally available on Galaxy On8, you need to install additional content when opening the app in order to be able to use it. Another thing I noticed is that Samsung's Touchwiz launcher has been updated after the software update. You can now swipe down anywhere on the homescreen to reveal the notification panel. It's a very handy feature on big screen phones. You need to turn on this feature in settings > display > homescreen > enable quick open notification panel. That's all. Didn't find any other changes after the update. Everything is smooth and working nice.

I have updated Nougat on last month. After that its working nice & battery backup s so good. i like very much this mob compared with other Chinese brands.

after nougat update its heat up too much...but ram is also good as wel old marsmellow

Message you can not access with ... moreI have updated to nougat recently too. But havn't faced a single issue. Some people think more free ram is good. But actually it is not. Good ram management keeps most used programs alredy loaded in memory to reduce startup time. Low free memory is not an issue as long as it is not lagging.
One of my friend faced a camera pro mode not opening issue..
You should factory reset after update. Dont worry it wouldnt get back to marsmello. Your problems may get resolved.

Gourab, 21 Sep 2017Good phone or bad phone .... camera is good or bad and i a... moreCamera on the Samsung Galaxy On8 is pretty good. It's above average and better than Chinese phones.. The front camera is kinda okay, not good in artificial light. As far as gaming is concerned, it's good for casual games but not for heavy gaming. The On8 has Exynos 7580 CPU (from 2015) built on an old 28nm process so it heats up with gaming and Mali T720MP2 GPU can't handle graphics intensive games. So if you are into heavy gaming, the On8 is certainly not a good choice but if you're a normal user, it's a nice phone.
