I yesterday bought On8 which comes with Marshmallow 6.0.1 (Baseband version J710FNDDU1AQB1). I'm afraid of updating to Nougat OS after reading battery issue opinion here.
My mobile shows update to Nougat OS with baseband version J710FNDDU1BRB2. Please tell me anybody is it really working good or not. Please share your experience briefly..

Yes, I got a update yesterday. Noticed a couple of improvements over charging time and battery standby. Microsoft apps came again with the update which I'm able to uninstall now.

This phone is fantastic but after nougat update i am facing a problem that my phonebook contacts are getting merged into each other.The number of one contact name is merged into another name...Are u guys also facing the same problem? and whats the solution of this problem. I hv done a factory reset deleted all contacts and saved them again but problem is still there. Any1 have any solution?

After upgrading to nougat the gaming performance improved drastically.I have tried Brothers in Arms 3,Gta liberty city stories and Asphalt 8 airborne.Each of the above mentioned games performed well without any lags or frame drops.So i am now quite satisfied with the samsung midranger.

Using this phone since Sept.27th.The pros and cons of this phone are:
+Excellent Display
+Excellent camera
+Excellent battery backup
+Good build quality
+Butter smooth performance
-Poor gaming experience(High end games are playable in med. & low settings)
-Audio output through speakers could be louder.

i purchased this phone one month ago...
i have some problem with this phone too much...
1.Display Hazy.
2.Battary And Charger..
friends.. samsung is totally fake company..and i already goes 3times in service center..
their is very bad rules of samsung.. and fake company with fake products..
i have some prooves of above two problems...
