it depends on how u gonna use it, if u want dual sim go for alcatel, if 1 sim only, go for galaxy pocket...

Nice phone in all features.... I prefer to buy....this SG Pocket is the best phone ever in Android Version....Only disadvantage is Small Screen...:-(

why my samsung y pocket s5300 edition doesn't satisfy me it, i thought its batery span can last up to 43hours but mine only 8hours???

I thik for this spec this phone will be at a higher price compared to pocket.

Are you asking how you will open your packet data without eating your load?
Just open your packet data connectivity and then turn off your syc accounts on the accounts and sync. You will only charged on your connection if you open an internet req'd app or your net browser. Just remember to always end your task of you are done so that it will not open and consume data while on the background.

Do you mean like skype videochat?
When you use the skype app, only the call function is available not the video call one. If you want a phone that can do videochat you must use a phone that has front camera like galaxy ace 2 and that phone must support that VOIP(voice over internet protocol) app you want to use.

RAM stands for Random Access Memory. Pocket has 289 mb amount of ram. The use of ram is for MULTITASKING. When you open a certain app like inbox, music player, internet etc. it requirea a certqin amount of ram. Make sure you are in the allowable range so that your phone can do its task. Or if you are done to your tasks, clear your ram regularly.

USB issue?
First go to
1)settings>>>applications>>>development and then you must put a check on USB debugging.
2)connect your usb cable on the usb of the cpu. pull down the notification bar on your phone and then click usb storage. allow it and then a green icon of the android logo will appear on your screen.
