The UAE already has a SRP of AED 999 which is a bit higher than what I expected and a bit higher than what I am willing to pay for, but overall, not too bad a starting price.
I will just wait for this phone's price to go down at surely it would with so many new phones with better specs coming right after it.

Only QVGA video recording even with 800 MHz?? Other phones take HD video with 600-700 MHz CPU...

this one priced around 11k php in virramall in metro manila...ive got W960i before from SE which is also a TS and a KP but the difference is its KP is not QWERTY. im using this now..probably the best i have as of the moment aside from my iphone 3gs and BB Onyx II

Seems like on the reasonable price, not too expensive, not too cheap. Pretty acceptable starting price I believe. Hope they lower it when it is actually released

It's between this and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro for me. The price difference might be big but that is a large part of my decision making. If this is priced less than half of Sony Ericsson Pro, which is estimated at around 350 Euros, than I might consider getting the samsung. If samsung prices this over 170 Euros,no thank, sony ericsson will get my money even if it is twice the price with the specs, it would be worth my hard earned money.

This should be priced around the price of the Galaxy Mini or the Nokia E5 to be accessible to it's customers..Anything more and Im sure a lot of us would just wait for the next better phone. Hope samsung knows how to price their phones..
