Samsung Galaxy Ring is now available in a new country

Vlad, 02 April 2025

The Samsung Galaxy Ring was initially teased in January 2024, only to get a full release in July. Well, in theory at least. Its rollout to various markets across the world has been the slowest of any Samsung mobile product in recent memory, but the company has recently promised to bring it to 15 more countries starting in February.

Here we are in April and the Galaxy Ring has finally become available in one new country: South Africa. You can get it for ZAR 7,999 (approximately $434 or €402 at the current exchange rates). There's even an offer of 20% off if you purchase it alongside a Galaxy S25 until April 30.

The Galaxy Ring can be had in nine sizes ranging from 5 to 13 on the US measurement scale. It can deliver up to 7 days on one battery charge, and it's rated 10 ATM for water depth resistance. Its heart rate sensor also tracks skin temperature and analyses your sleep.
