DDD, 20 Mar 2019Again, you haven't answered the question.
You claim to hav... moreAgain let me make it simpler for you since you seem not to understand;
The Galaxy Note 8 is my current and last EVER Samsung, specifically after buying and Experiencing the Huawei Mate 20X.
Ive looked projectively at Samsung and with all indications (especially with the "fold" hideous reveal and "ceramic" trends), customers are like dummies to them and they think users are taken for granted to be ripped off ANYTIME.
This is not suprising as Samsung is a company whose heir is in jail for 5 years fraud term.
- No reference on improving battery
- No reference on improving screen to avoid burn-ins (typically after 6 months)
- No reference to improve overlay skin which bloats out everyday apps and eventually (usually within 3 monthd) lags frustratingly
Huawe is value for money - and with their OS coming up as an option and alternative to Google's Android (for their phones and tablets) and alternatibe to Windows (on their laptops), Its the best investment for ANY Android buyer.

Double tap to wakeup the screen is from Nokia, who brought it along with Glance Screen feature in their Lumia days. Lift the phone to wake up the phone exists since Nexus 5, Moto X days and it isnt brought by Huawei. In fact only thing that is in Huawei and isnt in Samsung is faster charging tech. Everything else came from Samsung/Other Android OEMs to Huawei. Even the curved display of your beloved Mate 20 Pro. So you are literally claiming other brand's ideas as your Huawei's. True to the Chinese philosophy, just copying other big brands' ideas! Nothing else. Please do a research before claiming anything as Huawei's tech. Go and brag about your Huawei's copied ideas in Huawei's page. Dont do that in other brand's page and get roasted.

DDD, 20 Mar 2019You claim to own 3 premium phones, yet you always slag off ... moreUser Experience!
Most Note 5 users "upgraded" to the Note 8 because of the Samsung Dual App which comes as an alternative to the paid Parallel Space. They intentionally kept it off Note 5 down, meanwhile other OEMs like even Alcatel, Lenovo, Infinix, Xiaomi have these features inbuilt across their line-up.
Huawei for Android is the best option and my personal user Experience with the Huawei Mate 20X makes me understand more what value is for one's cash.

Maria, 20 Mar 2019I used to be a Samsung hater since the keypad phone era. I ... moreI'm not a Samsung hater either and own a Galaxy Note 8 (From the Note 5) But after buying the Huawei Mate 20X (bundled with the m pen) and using it, it made me realize how wasteful my spending on Samsung has been.
I used to have the Blackberry Keyone also for emails BUT I installed the Blackberry Hub+ on my Mate 20X and IT didn't need my blackberry phone anymore.
I did install the same software on my Note 8 and apart from the fruatrating lag in syncing emails, it was just a horrible Experience and made the sunscription worthless, until I got the Mate 20X.
The Mate 20X is a worthy Android alternative to my Apple iPhone Xs Max for general use and business communications (which is my priority!)
Huawei is a serious option for any smart shopper and Samsung is purely overpriced ripoff (from my experince)
I'm not a Xiaomi fan in ANY way. And Samsung couldn't pay me to ever change my views because its my experienced fact.

D45, 19 Mar 2019iOS has come a long way through developments and versions.
... moreI used to be a Samsung hater since the keypad phone era. I bought mostly Nokia, just once Sony Ericsson, no Samsung at all. My first Samsung is Galaxy S9+ because of the Samsung Experience User Interface. Eventhou it has Samsung own app but all of them can be hiden, disabled and even unsintalled. That is the most I like. The Samsung UI is the best so far, besides native Android in the Pixel family.
For your note: I am not a Huawei hater or lover. I am Xiaomi lover indeed. And I am not paid by Samsung.

Such a crazy Hua... moreSince many users are asking for the features which are available in HUAWEI but could not be found in SAMSUNG, such as double tap to wake up the screen (previously available in older HUAWEI devices) and lift the phone to wake up the screen(available now in latest HUAWEI devices) , SAMSUNG put these two features in the S10 series.
But this has caused the phone overheat, shorter battery life and butt - dials problems (when the phone is inside your pocket).

imRGZ, 19 Mar 2019Screen burnins? Okay. I never experienced it or any cracks ... moreThe display greenish is a fault of LG display (a South Korea company, which is same country with SAMSUNG) , it is beyond the control of HUAWEI in quality control but HUAWEI is taking the responsibility to exchange / repair all the Mate20 Pro (only) with this issue.
Mate20 is using a LCD display, do not have such issue.
Although Mate20 X is using a OLED display, but it is not from LG display, so also don't have such issue.

As an iOS user, I know how robust, secure and important it is to my business and what it offers as against the Android that is only for mobiles and plagued with security loopholes and official data fisching by Google itself.
Huawei coming up with its own OS is welcome because this is (like apple) not just for mobiles but for laptops and that makes it a platform; the syncing and integration is what helps business users coupled with expected security of data.
In all, Huawei is on the right track making reliable hardware; practical, efficient and user-friendly unlike Samsung

Maria, 19 Mar 2019I appreciate your opinion about value for money. Personally... moreIn terms of UI, Huawei wins by a long stretch because its own EMUI customization of Android interacts well to enhance the speed and avoid any lags over time. This is not the case with Samsung as their "Experience" and "OneUI" ultimately doesn't eventually work well with Google's Android and that results in the widely known lag over time.
For me, Huawei wins in every aspect and Samsung doesn't even compare anymore. And by the way, I currently own and use the Galaxy Note 8 and the Huawei Mate 20X (with the M Pen) - There's just NO basis to compare
