C A, 21 Jul 2020I take from your comment you didn't know how things pu... morePlease do not think that I know nothing about this subject. I can go into this in great detail. . I would advice anyone to think first before using 25w or 35w. Theres a reason why its not adviced on s10 plus. But ppl have thier own thought on this. Ppl will try it Note 5 battery was a nightmare. Thankfully samsung so far have realised thier mistake. The batteries now are better and more omptimized. This is just my opinon on this subject. Keep to the 15w on s10 plus.

C A, 21 Jul 2020I take from your comment you didn't know how things pu... more. There is a reason why the voltage and the ampage is carefully worked out as not to burn out the battery. Voyage and ampage give you your wattage. To get a higher wattage you either need to higher your voltage or your ampage.

Maggi, 21 Jul 2020I disagree! Users know all about how this and that works. W... moreI take from your comment you didn't know how things pull power and charge. It's better not to comment if knowledge is absent instead of commenting something completely wrong. I know you meant well, but please.
Using higher wattage chargers are not 'out of spec'. You are potentially scaring people with that and guess who is going to use that? Apple and others, to scare people of "exploding batteries". If the phone can only pull 18W, it will do so even with a 100000W charger. It's not going to fry and it's not dangerous and it's not going out of spec.

I also post... moreYes buddy, people know everything as they are using Smartphones for 15 years now and his answer is not valid in all aspects, it is an hardware feature not an software so it cannot change in any case, simple as that.

C A, 21 Jul 2020Seeing that nobody here knows how chargers aka power suppli... moreI disagree! Users know all about how this and that works. We are not stupid. Owning a smartphone, tablet or computer you need to know everything about them. Everything in the phone uses battery etc etc etc. Charging etc etc. I can go on and on but it will take too long to go into everything. Users on this forum are very well into technology. Dont take them for fools. Show respect and you will get respect in return!!

Anonymous, 21 Jul 2020thanks to everyone who answered my crazy questionSeeing that nobody here knows how chargers aka power supplies work, here is the answer:
Chargers / power supplies don't push current or voltage. They split and convert electricity from the wall. It's up to the device to pull the required wattage. You can even use a 100W charger and it won't make a difference if your phone isn't programmed to pull that much in the first place.
So many people here with absolutely no idea...

One of the most intriguing thing about the S10+ is that each time I use it's mobile hotspot and Bluetooth. It never gets hot. It's always cold.

Now if you check on youtube you will find some more info of ppl trying 25w and 45w. But your better staying with the specs at 15w. But not to say that others have tried it out.
