just bought it for 170$ second hand like new, as someone who doesn't game or use social media, this phone is godsent. they dont make it like this anymore,, compact and powerful, i mean they do but its apple with 1000$ price tag...

ordered a refurbished one from aliexpress (G970F) exynos version for 280 CAD$. As soon as I turned it on and set it up it started heating from the sides. I already knew its the samdung UI and even the battery was draining fast. Flashed lineage OS (Android 13) and boy the change is massive. No heating, all bloatware gone, stock android is buttery smooth and battery backup is so much better. If anyone is looking forward to get one, please get exynos version and install lineageOS, you wont regret it. SD version doesnt support ROMs

The battery wasn't that great when I got it. Granted I bought it brand new in 2022, so it wasn't really *new.* Also; I've only had it a year and suddenly the moisture in port warning came on when it has never been around/near moisture-and it will not go away. So, wire charging it is now impossible.

I am thinking of buying a secondary phone for media and ott purpose. I am a casual photographer as well. I am thinking of buying a Samsung s10/s10e, lg g8 thinq and pixel 4/4xl. The phone should be handy also. I don't like big phones at all. Please suggest.

Havelock, 02 Jul 2023I know, you blow the efuse but are those apps really so imp... morei personally use Pass but not Pay since it's not avaliable in my country, but you still lose the ability to re-sell the phone since its value will go extremely down, a refurbished S10e is around $130, a knox tripped S10e is probably $50 or less

Whats important for me is excellent battery life with VOLT support. (not interested in custom Roms has they are not perfect ones anyway)
Since I have opened up my phones back panel, I observed the physical condition of my phone. It looks good (not bloated at all)
I am okay with taking the risk in modifying binary etc.
Do let me know. I have downloaded android 10 it's last version before 11 came out.
