So again, I do not own and Iphone, I use a P30 Pro with 6 GB of RAM. 6 GB of RAM is more than enough for my task. 16 GB is overkill, a phone does not need 16GB of RAM(yet, who knows what the future holds).

Just because Android can have way more RAM doesn't mean it performs any faster. Until Google fixes the ever-terrible memory management on Android, there is no way Android can beat the iPhone in terms of long-term performance. I even have a friend who still uses an iPhone 6S Plus to this day and never complains about performance lag at all, not even once.

The function of RAM is to do multi-tasking and to have a better performance while playing games. Adding 16GB of RAM in a phone is an excusse for brands to increase the price of the phone.
