It's not unlikely that the s21 FE ends up worse save the sd888 SoC (if you'd even notice that difference there) since most of the compromises made to the s20 body to get the FE were already adopted by the s21 that followed (plastic back, non-curved display, etc...).

So if the S21 FE is cutting costs, where are they cutting them that won't leave the S21 FE worse or unnoticeably different? (save the price.)

Should I wait for Samsu... moreHonestly, the Snapdragon 888 has heating issues and if the s21 Fe is going to be a compact phone, that might be an issue for you. I got the s20 Fe 5g about a week back and it's the best decision I have made for a smartphone purchase. Pretty snappy even on 60 Hz, I use 120 for games only. Battery life is all day long, but again depends on own use case. It will get updates for the next 3 years minimum.

I currently have Huawei P10 Lite, and also dont play games. I am using it mostly for youtube and like to take a lot of photos, so I gues it will be a siginificant shift for me to. Can i reduce from 120Hz to 90Hz or 60Hz, or does it have automatically based on the application that is being used or its just 120Hz ?

Not heating at all, it happened when i charged it for first time and took backup, nothing thereafter. It feels fine, good performance, smooth, but then again i came from redmi note 4, so huge shift for me. I also dont play games. So, my opinion might be one sided.

Hi, got my s20 fe 5g last week, and seems perfect. I saw few vidoes which say you need to have screen protector while others say you don't. I also noticed very tiny bubble at lower end of screen. So, should I fix screen protector?

                    Thanks

Guys, what is your honest opinion ? Should I wait for Samsung Galaxy S21 FE or get now Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G(with SD chipset) for around 550$ ? Is the newer model worth the wait ? Thanks in advance. :)

Heating issue, I would say it's not so apparent for daily usage. The only heating issue I faced is when I do continuous photo shooting, 45c degree. Other times, not so.

Screen material? Different but not so drastic, same AMOLED but weaker quality. I have both, regular s20 has greater viewing angle and wider gamut color. The FE also fall short in touches response, not so sensitive. But hey, it's tad cheaper.

I recently bought this phone and everything is so satisfactory except the display. While colors and smoothness are great I'm not impressed with sharpness. When compared to my Poco F1 I feel content on Poco's display looks way sharper (Even 480p content is very sharp). When looking very closly I can rather identify individual pixels on FE's display but nothing's to worry when looking from a distance. I cannot find any individual pixel on poco's display which has same PPI, no matter how hard I try. I don't know whethr all the samsung FHD displays are like this. I noticed the same thing on Galaxy A31 but I did not expect such thing on FE since it falls in to more premium category.

Coming from S10 plus , I bought last week the 20 fe 5g with the snapdragon processor.
                                        pros:
The performance of the device is amazing
Compared to the previous phone with a Samsung processor
                                        The battery is excellent
                                        The camera is also good
                                        Good call quality
                                        Powerful speaker
Comfortable to hold in the hand

                                        Cons:
The phone doesn't feel premium-compared to my previous phone (s10 plus).
But the attractive price makes up for it...
I didn't like the quality of the screen feels like an A-series screen
I think the phone offers a good package and an attractive price
At the moment I am relatively satisfied with this phone. (:
