My device is taking 2 to 2.5 hours to completely charge with Samsung original 25w charger and cable. Previously it used to take only 1h to 1h 5/10m. Fast charging is on in the settings and the device does not have heating issues. Is anyone else facing the same issue?

I have AOD (which may lead to some battery drain) and adaptive power saving permanently on. Still with moderate to heavy use, it lasts barely 12 hours.

When the battery reache... moreSamsung has a history with battery issues,, This goes all the way back when I had a feature phone of Samsung, it had only 2mp camera, 90MB internal storage with no memory card support n just wap internet, I don't remember the model number,,, but after 6months of usage battery used to get very hot just with normal usage and used to drain drastically in an hour even after battery replacement,, same issue after 6months,,. Battery exploder phone s7 ..
Other thing is I have submerged my current phone (S20 Fe 5g) couple of times in water, no issues,, only thing was when I tried charging it was prompting me to dry out the charging port and worked well then after,,,
Current issues with phone is battery doesn't last long as it already 2yrs old, it heats up playing heavy games,, same as before,, takes very less time charging (it's not pro,, overall battery health has decreased)
Finally for People who want to buy this phone presently,, I would recommend not to buy the phone and go for alternatives,, Coz
People who bought this phone at beginning of this phones release have hardly faced any issues and was one of the best phones,
But the later batches have lot of issues concerning display and bad build quality...hence destroying this models reputation in the process

Kru, 19 Jun 2023Thanks mateNot all S20 FE 5G have display brightness problem. Some may be using auto brightness and then blindly criticizing this phone. Just ignore them. Mosy say that auto brightness will consume little more battery for the sensor to work. So I am convenient with manual 25% brightness for usage indoors and when travelling in bus during day time. This level will vary among the users. Thats all.

Hi, I'm thinking of buying this phone 2nd hand. I'm curious how are the video playing capabilities of this device while playing local videos on 3rd party apps. How good is the HDR support and will it be a good phone for watching Hi-res movies on??
Because some people on internet are saying it's display is not that good. Please help.

You can buy 3rd party type C to 3.5 mm jack and some are available woth charging connectors also. Search the e commerce websites based on your country of residence. If they offer return policy, you can return and get refund. Just ignore others who are blabbering about the 3.5 mm jack availability.

The only cons with this device are the lack of headphone jack and 4G carrier aggregation issue (in India). Since 5G is available in most cities now, the 4G carrier aggregation issue can be ignored now.

Such an awesome choice to select a phone like this, here's why:
pros:
120hz display
snapdragon 865 processor
great battery endurance (110 hours)
dex support (wired and wireless)
sd card support (aka the last samsung flagship to have a sd card slot)
fast charging support (25w wired and 15w wireless)
30x zoom, advanced camera despite being only 12mp one
cons:
software support about to finish (android upgrades are done, only security updates until october 2024 and from october 2023 they would be scheduled to quarterly, you can flash custom rom but understand the risk before doing so)
no headphone jack
conclusion: pretty good phone to recommend, but might one day upgrade to a s22 or an a34, whichever is better, I just can't without updates and flashing roms are risky choice.

The box can be sealed, with official Samsung seals, the screen can have the official Samsung labeled plastic with the model number, but you will still know it's refurbished / not brand new, if the thin plastic film/very thin protective vinyl film that covers or surrounds the top, bottom and sides of the phone along its entire thickness are missing or are no longer pristine or complete. Also, the portions where the screen attaches to the sides and the sides to the back cover may have dust accumulation and larger gaps or gap distance is inconsistent (signs the phone screen or back cover has been previously removed/disassembled).
