Respond, 06 Jun 2023Do we need to make any changes in phone settings to access ... moreNo need to change any phone settings after updating. The phone automatically connects to n28 band when coverage of n78 band is low. Clear cache partition after updating the device from recovery menu.

After typing *#0011# on the keypad, I entered Service Mode of the phone where it is still showing n78 band for Jio SIM, not n28 band.

But I didn't notice any improvements with speed and coverage
Even in Pune, coverage is very bad specially indoors
When I move out to balcony, it gets better but indoors i m still getting mostly 4G
Have you done any additional settings after this update? Also, from which area are you from, if you don't mind!

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2023So how is the network speed coming ? 5G network coverage is very good now. Before, the device never connected to 5G network inside my house, now after updating the software, I am getting 5G signal even inside the deepest room of my house. on n28 5G band, the speed varies from 1 to 100 mbps. On n78 band, the speed is between 300 to 500 mbps.
I belong to a small city here in India. Even here Jio has both n28 and n78 SA bands. Ignore the person who is telling that n28 band is not present everywhere. The n28 band is present almost everywhere where there is Jio 5G network available. He is just looking for someone to argue with.

Ignore others who are blindly supporting android 13. Note that jio has not started the 700 MHz 5G at all the places. Upgrade to android 13 after jio launches VoNR or wait till jio launches 700 MHz 5G at all the placea.

Samsung has released second may 2023 update here in India and the update has enabled n28 SA 5G band! I checked it, it now connects to n28 SA 5G band on the Jio network.

When the battery reache... moreYeah I've noticed a couple times since purchasing a couple mths back it jump from around 7% to next to zero, assumed this was some battery lag as both times it was when I was tethering/ multi tasking or heavy usage.. a shame but overall not complaining, still think its comparable to the a52s which I thought had great battery life.
Had another small update on 5.1 and all good, still haven't fixed the eye shield not switching itself off which is more annoying than the battery imo..fingers crossed but not holding my breath
