Deleted question :
Is this phone worth buying now?
Answer :
Good phone to buy in 2023 also (feature wise if you do not bother about OS updates).

[deleted post]No, because of the following reasons (in India) -
1.) The device supports only n78 SA 5G band so if you want to use Jio sim in this device, you will have to settle with only one 5G band. n78 SA 5G band has low indoor coverage. And also, when connected to the same n78 SA 5G band, the device has low 5G coverage as compared to other devices like Galaxy F23, M33, OnePlus Nord 2 and many more. I tested it myself. Others are facing the same issue, search the issue in Samsung Members app.
2.) The device doesn't support the most commonly used 2300 + 2300 mhz 4G carrier aggregation used by Indian Operators so the 4G Carrier Aggregation support is negligible. 4G carrier aggregation rarely works on this device. Search S20 FE 5G carrier aggregation issue on Samsung Members community and you will understand the issue.
So, overall, this device has network issues.
3.) Android 13 is the last Android OS update for this device and it will not get further Android OS update. If you like latest software updates then device is not for you. Ignore the person who is telling you to buy this device, he has no knowledge of these issues.
Suggestion - 10-12 days ago, S21 FE was selling for ₹30000 here in india, wait for next sale, that device is worth it below ₹ 30000.
Also, don't buy A, M and F series smartphones above ₹25000, they are not value for money above that price, the data collection techniques used by Samsung in those devices are agressive and also they have 3rd party bloatware issues.

[deleted post]I suggest ignore such comments made by him. Let him type as if he wrote the entire code. I have been seeing comments by him since few months.
You tried to make him understand but none cannl do anything if someone is not ready to learn. Even I commented mentioning "Dear techies". Yes he dislikes whenever someone critices s20 fe 5g. Only few people understand the importance of criticism and the way to take it.

[deleted post]All phones get older over time and Samsung does not provide updates for lifetime to any phone model. These are the real facts. If you see this, you cannot buy any phone.

[deleted post]If you are not bothered about updates, then buy S20 FE 5G. It has OIS for 2 camera lenses which is not present in most of the mid range phones. Others are blabbering about the processor speed, old etc. A common user does not bother about this. You know that.
Or else A52s 5G, A73 are good choice.
If you want exynos processor based phone, A54 is the good choice.
Decision is yours.

[deleted post]I don't think so. Processor is little old. N28 SA band for jio ( if you're in India ) not sure. Also I am not sure whether on avg this phone hits good network speeds consistently.
No android update ( android 13 is last ). Though updates doesn't matter for everyone but with the rate of change of technology, i feel it is better to have support ( updates ).
I personally didn't like battery backup.
Modem speed - not so great
Battery - below avg
Processor - old one
Updates - no updates
Its better of you look for other phone.

Anonymous, 18 May 2023It's dissapointing to hear. Great if samsung listens t... moreThe company never listen to its customers. This phone also does not support 4G 2300 + 2300 mhz (2 CA) carrier aggregation here in India which is the most commonly used 4G CA by Indian carriers here in India, due to this, this device also has 4G carrier aggregation issues. My device rarely connects to 4G+/ LTE+ network.

Respond, 16 May 2023I am not an expert, but I believe that 5G bands are hardwar... moreMy phone is the November 2022 android 12 patch with bit / rev number as 4. 5G didn't work. I flashed the CP and home CSC files from the Feb 2023 official patch of android 13 version that also has bit / rev number as 4. Aftet this process the 5G 3500 MHz band is working in android 12 itself. Flash it only if you know how to do it. Ignore those who say that it is unofficial.

Maybe we should write to Samsung to activate the n28 band, if it is the one preferred by Jio.
