Jacek, 06 Dec 2022It was based on 12/4.1, I have updated to 13/5.0 yesterday ... morewhich country did you get the update?

I have checked a Samsung phone at a Samsung authorized service center that wss running android 13. I copied some text in the clipboard on 05th Dec 2022 evening. The same text was present in the clipboard on 06th Dec 2022 also.

I only criticize the actions by google which is limiting the features in each update and upgrade.

Android 4.3 : google disabled all the 3rd party apps to control the flight mode (profile scheduling apps cannot switch on or off the flight mode according to the profile timings)

Android 4.4.2 : google disabled the third party apps from accessing the memory card directly for their essentian functions also

Android 10 : Removed the outgoing WiFi direct option when we choose anything to share

Android 12 October 2022 updates within android 12 : Ruined my phone* making VoLTE and mobile data to disrupt frequently.

        * means : My phone is experiencing that. I am not blaming this model blindly. But Samsung is planning negative on every model (in the name of OS update and upgrade) to force the users to buy newer handsets.

Update means new patches within the same version

Upgrade means changing the OS to the next version.

Couple observations about Android 13/OneUI 5.0 upgrade:
          - everything feels even snappier than before and it was already blazing fast
          - RAM management is better - 2.8-3.0 RAM used after restart/cleaning and it rarely exceeds 3.5 GB under moderate load (FB, Messenger, Chrome)
          - Procedures, former Bixby Routines, seem to work better now
          - annoying Facebook bug with missclicked likes seems gone now

Night40, 06 Dec 2022Also what's your one ui version? It was based on 12/4.1, I have updated to 13/5.0 yesterday and can't tell the difference yet.

Night40, 06 Dec 2022Damn I'm wondering about the 6GB variant using more th... moreOne UI 4.1.
Currently 8 GB should be minimum RAM on a phone if you are having some 70 around apps in total, even if none of these are gaming ones.

For a gamer, i guess 12 GB should be the aim.
              And 256 GB ROM min.

I am having this phone for close to 1.5 years. Storage close to 80% full. I did move some of the data to PC still this 128 GB feels less.
I am using 2 sim carde so cant use the memory card slot, and though had i used it, the additional price of memory card would surely be more than the additional price needed for the higer ROM variant.
So, higher ROM is better buy always.

Jacek, 06 Dec 20222.8-3.2 GB after restart or cleaning, 3.8-4.2 GB when used. Also what's your one ui version?

Jacek, 06 Dec 20222.8-3.2 GB after restart or cleaning, 3.8-4.2 GB when used.I'm assuming the phone is running fb, messenger, whatsapp, insta etc. Before the cleanup?

Also no doubt RAM is the fastest memory no matter how fast the internal storage is it will always be slower than a RAM.

Jacek, 05 Dec 2022Android 13/OneUI 5.0 just rolled in (Poland)Great. We can expect all the phones to get it this year only then.

Btw, How to know if RAM plus is slower than main RAM?

Unreserved Nick, 06 Dec 2022Don't know how to check this. But, there's an opt... moreOne UI should have an option called device care which shows available battery, storage as well as memory so do check that and let me know.
Also RAM plus treats internal storage as RAM so it's not as fast as an actual RAM.

While I agree that there should be a way to disable this, If that really bothers you, can't you just open the sidebar to the clipboard section, hold something you copied, and tap the lock button?
