MikeM, 17 Feb 2024This is by far best phone till now with flagship processor ... morei highly doubt it would support microsd card slot expansion

This is by far best phone till now with flagship processor better than SD888,, working still fine after over 2.5yrs,, just will miss the updates,, it still has capability with continued support for atleast of upto 2 more yrs,,

If have to make a upgrade,, I wish S24fe comes with SD8 gen 2 not with gen 1 or Exynos processor,

Just imagine S24fe with 8gen2 processor n hybrid slot at a decent price,, it would be a flagship killer as it would atleast have 5+ yrs of support

Phone feels lot better when being used without any case, now I don't feel like using a case (have put a case from day 1 which is a common practice)

I mean without rooting or similar :

Did anyone get VoNR support in your phone (S20 FE 5G)?.

I am using two S20 FE 5G phones (1 bought as new from Amazon India for 32000 INR on October 2021 running October patch of android 12 (jio 5G 3500 MHz is only working in the 5G band) and another from the same website as refurbished (activated on 21st Nov 2022) running android 13 with latest patch.
When will the S20 FE 5G model get jio VoNR support?. Any idea?.

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2024For the first time, I agree with Sudhakar (s35ym), I update... moreI used the firmware from the samfw website. It was official. I am using the CP and the home CSC files from the Feb 2023 patch of the android 13 version in my first S20 FE 5G phone that is currently running with android 12 (October 2022) patch. I did this to make Jio 5G n78 (3500 MHz) band work in the android 12.

But I took 3 hours to flash. I mean reading all the procedures carefully and doing each step one by one slowly.

For the first time, I agree with Sudhakar (s35ym), I updated my other phone to One UI 6.0 and I hate it. The new notification panel design is very bad. One UI 5.1 was so much better. I visited service center and they also had One UI 6.0. So, downgrade is not possible now. I had used Odin to flash One UI 5.1 but I don't trust firmwares downloaded from third party websites.
