Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G's One UI 3.1 update rolling out again
Samsung released One UI 3.1 update for the Galaxy S20 FE 5G (SM-G781B) in over a dozen European countries last week, but the rollout was halted shortly after. Samsung didn't release an official statement revealing the reasons for pulling the update, but the good news is it has now resumed the rollout of One UI 3.1 for S20 FE 5G.
The update requires a download of over 1.7GB and carries the same version number as before - G781BXXU2CUB5. It is seeding in Europe as of writing this and if you haven't received it on your device yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to the Settings > Software update menu of your phone.
The One UI 3.1 update for the Galaxy S20 FE 5G comes with the February 2021 Android security patch and a bunch of new features.
Samsung hasn't released One UI 3.1 for the S20 FE 4G yet, but it shouldn't be too long before the rollout begins.
Updated the 5G model 2 days ago. Nothing to report, everything working fine so far. Some apk installed apps don't work properly anymore since the One UI 3.0, or Android 11. Maybe a reinstall would fix them.
