Can't decide whether to get this over the Note 10 plus. The S20 Ultra has better specs (camera, bigger battery and screen) but I'm not liking the rounded edges of the S20 Ultra. The Note 10 plus has a way better-looking and sleeker design to me, and also ofc that S Pen.

          great phone, just wish Samsung would dial back the heavy handed jpeg processing, when one looks at the great jpegs one can get from RAW and compares them to the auto jpegs its a massive difference, very processed smeary detail, disappointing! Just give us jpegs that look more natural like the RAW files...

            It is a great phone, I give samsung thumbs up , especially in terms of battery and the phone getting warm ,

Y... moreWhen I say I found it, I meant, I found the option to allow apps access to the SD card in the developer settings. Not the problem with Exynos. Exynos has always been a problem since a while. Snapdragon chips were always the favoured one. Sammy only sells the snapdragon versions to Murica and Choina. The rest of the world gets their exycrap.

              Well, lemme keep you up to date... The new Exynos 1000 series chips are the ones that will use AMD GPU. Exynos even said that their chips will be more efficient than the 875, but not as powerful as the 875. I assume they'll be using the new 5nm node for Exynos, but will use just A78 cores, and not the fast Cortex X1 core that ARM will be releasing in the Snapdragon 875. For mobile phones, just a single X1 will be used in conjunction with 3 A78 cores, and 4 A55 cores.

              So right now, All the Exynos chips are power hungry, and heat up like a toaster, so that's why they're crap. Qualcomm has managed to keep the max temperature at 40*C and prevent the phone from going above that level, and that's a great thing they did. Let's see if the Exynos fixed the overheating on their 1000 series chips.

              And honestly, I care a lot about CPUs. Mediatek's G series CPUs starting with the G70, going all the way to G95 are great budget gaming CPUs. Their Dimensity chips too are another great line-up. It's a shame that AMD didn't partner with Mediatek, but went with Samsung instead. smh. Samsung should stick with memory solutions as that's what they're best at.

Most Indians who want a Samsung smartphone too wouldn't care, but then when the problems start piling up, they will start wondering why that happens, and soon more will realise, exynos is the culprit.

                    You'll be amazed with this true story of mine! I am the Chief Executive of a Paper Mill. This is my SECOND S20 ultra purchase! The first one had speaker problems which caused it to lose voice intermittently. I sent it for repairs TWICE, and both times it was returned back to me without repair. I wrote to the President of Samsung Mobiles Pakistan thrice, but I never got a reply! I had so much data (and individual settings) on the phone that I had to buy a new one and switch everything to that- despite the poor autofocus issue. This will be the LAST Samsung phone I will be using. I have purchased hundreds of Samsung mobiles for my office employees and have been using Samsung as my phone since the S2 came along. The S20 ultra and Samsung service in Pakistan has been a horrible experience.

                          Martin, 10 May 2020I do have Exynos version of S20 Ultra and I have no problem... moremyself i use a phone for a few hours of the day. i need a compact camera for my telescoping hobby and this amazing camera could become useful. aswell as it being a phone.

                            I'm a big fan of Samsung phones. But why they're still using exynos chipset instead of snapdragon in global? I wish they'll use snapdragons to all of Samsung Phones next time.

                                Akfa , 15 Jul 2020Best phone note 10 plus for real. i bought the note 10 plus in April this year. no regrets....great phone. i don't get hyped up about the latest and its my first note also and from the complaints i am seeing i have made the right choice of buying the note 10 plus......paying all that money for a 108 mp phone is not worth it to me

                                  Sadek, 09 May 2020Please tell me if you bought it what do you think about the... moreI wanted this Samsung S20 Ultra to replace my iPhone XS (display broke down) but will take it back and take the iPhone to a repair shop. Why? I use camera a lot and iPhone makes acceptable and mostly great pictures in almost any situation. With S20 Ultra I never know exactly what will come out. Especially low light indoor under incandescent light using back facing main camera (1:1) without flash which is a no brainer for the iPhone. I tested it in all possible ways indoors and it is mostly software related and how it sets the exposure triangle. Same conditions, low light, indoors: iPhone 1/25s and ISO400 and some magic - not excellent but perfectly acceptable and looking "photographic", Samsung went 1/100s and ISO2000 - of course it is all smeared, like an oil painting. Nothing wrong with S20 Ultra sensor, if you work on raw file it comes out pretty good, only a dslr makes a real diff to it and even my iPhone XS struggles to come close. But I want to snap and go with a mobile, I develop my DSLR RAW pictures. So Samsung, work on your sw. I admit great fun is the zoom and if you need to see a reg. number on a car half a km away it almost gets it (had to try a couple of times with my 200-500 lens to catch it hand-held) and the selfie camera is just amazing. I would love it on the back because the software treats pictures from this camera much better than portraits from the back main camera. As per the wide camera, I do not use it on a mobile phone much. And yes, it heats up quite a bit, the auto-focus is hit and miss indoors on low contrast items (probably for the large sensor). So selling it.

                                    Sammy should stop selling exycrap to the rest of the world.
                                    If amd is partnering with Samsung, then amd will be in for a big disappointment as exycrap chips heats up like crazy.

                                        the S20 Ultra comes with sensors with increased size, which results in shallow depth of field and longer focal length of 10cm or more. Due to this, the camera sometimes can fail to focus when the object is up close. ... If this is the case, then the users of S20 Ultra will have to settle with this issue.24.04.2020.....very bad
