Akfa , 15 Jul 2020Best phone note 10 plus for real. i bought the note 10 plus in April this year. no regrets....great phone. i don't get hyped up about the latest and its my first note also and from the complaints i am seeing i have made the right choice of buying the note 10 plus......paying all that money for a 108 mp phone is not worth it to me

Sadek, 09 May 2020Please tell me if you bought it what do you think about the... moreI wanted this Samsung S20 Ultra to replace my iPhone XS (display broke down) but will take it back and take the iPhone to a repair shop. Why? I use camera a lot and iPhone makes acceptable and mostly great pictures in almost any situation. With S20 Ultra I never know exactly what will come out. Especially low light indoor under incandescent light using back facing main camera (1:1) without flash which is a no brainer for the iPhone. I tested it in all possible ways indoors and it is mostly software related and how it sets the exposure triangle. Same conditions, low light, indoors: iPhone 1/25s and ISO400 and some magic - not excellent but perfectly acceptable and looking "photographic", Samsung went 1/100s and ISO2000 - of course it is all smeared, like an oil painting. Nothing wrong with S20 Ultra sensor, if you work on raw file it comes out pretty good, only a dslr makes a real diff to it and even my iPhone XS struggles to come close. But I want to snap and go with a mobile, I develop my DSLR RAW pictures. So Samsung, work on your sw. I admit great fun is the zoom and if you need to see a reg. number on a car half a km away it almost gets it (had to try a couple of times with my 200-500 lens to catch it hand-held) and the selfie camera is just amazing. I would love it on the back because the software treats pictures from this camera much better than portraits from the back main camera. As per the wide camera, I do not use it on a mobile phone much. And yes, it heats up quite a bit, the auto-focus is hit and miss indoors on low contrast items (probably for the large sensor). So selling it.

Sammy should stop selling exycrap to the rest of the world.
If amd is partnering with Samsung, then amd will be in for a big disappointment as exycrap chips heats up like crazy.

the S20 Ultra comes with sensors with increased size, which results in shallow depth of field and longer focal length of 10cm or more. Due to this, the camera sometimes can fail to focus when the object is up close. ... If this is the case, then the users of S20 Ultra will have to settle with this issue.24.04.2020.....very bad

i regretted after buying S20 Ultra.
Worse battery life + pathetic Fingerprint scanner , too big to use ...
later I exchanged it with Huawei P40 pro and this is the best decision I made

Samsung must come up with something new and innovative to stay in the market and competition. This phone is insanely priced considering its specs and storage. Camera alone can't be a USP. I don't think this phone is worth buying.

I have to laugh about some , maybe most of the posts complaining about really minor items not included or some piece that in their mind should have be X/Y/Z
I’ve not read all the comments , but a little ago the major excuse not to get a new phone was because ,,,, bring the headphone jack back or I’m not getting it , bla bla bla
Well , this one comes without it , yet not seeing the normal whining , what gives !?

The front camera should in corner not in the middle.
Ultra crazy price with only 128GB .
Poor CPU.
Free RAM only 7GB of 12, in fact SAMSUNG always very bad with RAM space.
Ultra crazy price yet you need to pay more for 5G version.
Because of this ultra samsung drop alot of good things from other version.

you guys are foolish and doesnot know the value of Exynos. You can use it as a room heater too.Two in one.sometimes I use for cooking purpose also. :)

Yet now i have a Snapdragon based Samsung S10 Lite i have none of these issues. My previous S20 Plus was dreadful for battery life,signal was pathetic and it often got so hot it became uncomfortable. And i don't even do gaming on phones

Anonymous, 17 May 2020If you are in a region which uses exynos, I'd go down this ... moreUnfortunately, your solution is useless because you haven't stated which version of the software you are comparing. - Galaxy Exynos has provided a patch upgrade every month (I think), 1st March 2020, 1st April 2020, 1st May 2020 in England for the Exynos 990.
I saw one Exynos 990 versus Snapdragon 865 on YouTube that the Exynos 990's camera was superior to the Snapdragon 865's camera with both with the 1st May upgrade patch!

If you are a gamer than the Snapdragon is still superior.
But I saw one review that stated that the first time Exynos performed a particular task the Snapdragon was superior but after the first time that must be maybe placing data into the buffer the timings were identical.
What reviewers should do is to state which software upgraded version is being used and placed into flight mode if possible, and reduce apps working in the background.
Otherwise even an excellent review is useless!

OnePlus 8 Pro (SD865) > Exynos S20 Ultra > Huawei P40 Pro > Apple (worst option if you actually care about specs, hardware or cameras.)

I had the s20 ultra i have used the phone for 2 months iam not satisfied like my note 10 plus note is the very different phone it is the best note 10 plus thank u

Camera is great, actually one of the best cameras I have used in the smartphone. From ny perspective I will strongly recommend this device

Wont be buying this year. The phone is way too expensive at €1379 for 128GB version it's crazy.
For that money you don't get the Samsung 45W charger included, only 128GB storage considering the phone can record @8K and 108MP camera. The phone seems just as good as s10+ on day to day basis regardless of its specifications and hardware. Really disappointing from Samsung.
The 512GB version cost €1500+. The only real difference I can see between s20 ultra and its predecessor s10+(on daily basis usage) is the refresh rate. In conclusion I would only recommend this phone to heavy camera users. Other than that I would recommend to purchase s10+ or go with an alternative brand like OnePlus.
