Celestial Kirby, 03 Mar 2024Samsung did a great work on the design!The last great smartphone - S21+ definitely a keeper. OS updates till Android 15 + 1 year of security patches. For $600, my unlock phone is a well-thought out buy when I got way back May,2021 - so almost 3 years since then.

      I just bought it Canadian version Snapdragon and believe me i am impressed till now. Everything is awesome even battery life is super to me. No games but 2 fully days moderate use.

            Anonymous, 04 Feb 2024How do I get expert raw on this phone?Expert raw feature is only available on the S21 Ultra not the plus unlike the S22 series where it is available for all the versions (base/plus/ultra).

              it's me or I see in samsung s21 plus there is no frill in the top speaker these are normal or is there a problem?

                  But who knows - With Samsung changing its OS policy 2x since 2021 and last year - we may see another change before then.

                  As of now, this would be my last Samsung phone - as I see many other brands that offer equal or better offerings, and more affordability. For the money ($600) I paid 30 months ago - I can get something much better, newer and HALF what I paid from back then.

                    For the s21plus android 15 will be the last major update, after that 1 year of security updates every 3 months. Sad but true. It is even on the official support page from samsung. However, 7 years of support is nice but only a few use a smartphone more then 3 or 4 years. Have the s21plus since the beginning and the little problems/annoyances have arrived. Poor signal (have a second cheap work samsung with same provider, way better signal, stable). Sudden freezing of whatever i am doing, needs reboot. So dunno, maybe they cause this on purpose with software so you buy a new one. But the amount of bloatware also annoyance me. Looking at that oneplus 12 and tempted. Others who hear something rattling in there phone? Part of a camera maybe.

Then you can proceed to get Samsung push of Android 14 via OTA.

                                Love that Google is still making smaller flagships.

                                    Honestly I would advise to decide if you like Samsung software more than stock Android. Also Pixel camera is really the best.

                                      S21+ has worse night video and worse stabilization compared to Pixel. Pixel has slightly worse battery and apparently some bugs (don't know if still happens in 2024).

                                        Latest Samsung OS update policy .... looks like S21+ may get Android 15.
