About the regular note 20 having a "better display", the reason why the note 20 ultra display looks dimmer is due to the higher refresh rate. if you lock it at 60hz, it should be brighter. higher refresh rates require more power to keep up with the extra processing. The higher the refresh rate, the dimmer the screen will be unless the screen is ultra powerful. It's the same for Gaming monitors. My 144hz LG gaming monitor is way brighter at 60hz compared to it's 144hz setting.

Alex, 23 Dec 2020I can't imagine anyone in their sane mind going for S2... moreI feel you man, I'm going to stick with my S20 the battery might not be the best but it's enough. The S21 is pretty much a downgrade, also if anyone wants to upgrade from an S20 to an S21 Forget It. It's a downgrade and a waste of money. I'm just going to wait for the S22 or S23.

Might only last longer, due to the bigger battery and smaller resolution.

Not much difference between the latest model and this future iteration,no need to upgrade.

Personally, I went with S10, just got it last week for $450 from an official retailer. And that's the last good S-series phone, later Samsung started to cut corners and raise prices where they shouldn't. Yes, you'll lose 5G and 120Hz screen with S10, but keep optical zoom, 1.5 aperture, 3.5mm jack. Battery is smaller but lasts longer (!). CPU is a tiny bit less powerful but no throttling issues of Exynos 990.

Gonna replace my s6 next month (it lasted almost 5years. sticking with s series) Camera+battery+storage are my concerns, not a gamer so rest is less important. s20 or s21, opinions? cameras in regular model are similar, I'd get that damn ultra just for the camera if it wasn't so darn big (tiny hands problem)

The limit for me for 6.5-inch phones, they're a little uncomfortable to hold and I mostly like using phones one-handed. I always wanted Samsung to make a compact series, probably not going to happen but I'm just imagining.

i don't particularly like big models. I think the S10 or a C9 Pro (6.0 inch displays) are as big as my hands want.
