"l decided to stick around a bit longer to S9"
I still use my s8 from time to time, what a pity the battery is past 1000 cycles. No, thank you. We won't see samsung phones like s8/s9 anymore...

Harry, 14 Dec 2021Upgrading to S21 from S10 pros and cons: Cons: - Less r... moreI have the s10 , and i would wait for s22 to see if they would bring back quality display and 12gb ram. If not S20 5g would be my next one. Better buy S20 with 12gb if S22 would be fail just like S21

Traded my S9 in for the S21 back in June when it was on offer, the S21 has been fine up until about 2 months ago when the random reboot issue started several times a day without warning.
Tried a factory reset & it didn't fix the issue.
Contacted Samsung support & they had the phone back for repair, sent it back to me " fully repaired " & 6 days after getting it back the random reboot issue is back.
As the current trade in price is higher that what I originally paid for the phone I'm getting rid, far to many reports of the same issue that Samsung seem unable to fix.
People have reported Samsung replacing there S21 series for a new device & that suffering from the same random reboot issue.

Harry, 14 Dec 2021Upgrading to S21 from S10 pros and cons:
Cons:
- Less r... moreBruh, nobody uses headphone jack, or an SD card, both of them are obsolete, but uploading stuff to the cloud is better!
However I think sone, wireless earbuds has anc, which makes the headphone Jack less convenient!
There is also eism for dual sim, which if you have scanned the qr code for your carrier, then it should be activated!

Usually I'll upgrade to the latest S Series device. I skipped upgrading to the S20 and glad I did but I won't consider the S22/Note 22 or whatever label Samsung settles on. Very few improvements and in some features they're going backwards. Innovation for mobile phones have reached a plateau, why drop a bundle for a bit better camera or a new color? Sorry Samsung, I'll sit this one out.
Samsung are gonna screw Europe again with another exynos cpu theyve gone with AMD gpu integrated inside to put spin on the whole thig to look more appealing to the consumer but plz believe this will be 20-30% worse that the snapdragron 8 gen1 version of the s22 yet we stil pay more than the USA for the phone. This is what made me move to hUAWEI and oppo and i'll be keeping my huawei p30 because its still a very capable 2019 phone faster than my s20 i had from samsung last year which i sold for £200 due to terrible battery jerky video camera and overheating issues and slow laggy gaming. I will at some point get either a iphone 12 or 13 to have the best of android and the apple world.

First if you whant battery to last longer you can change your display resolution. But is not ok a low resolution for a flagship .
And second S-series where never made to charge after 2 days. Everyone is charging everyday and you know that. But S-series in the past (except S21) had the best display quality for that time.
I had S21 in my hands and i don t like the display quality.

jim, 10 Dec 2021yeah for real, do you really need 1440p on a 6 inch screen?... moreI had 5.1 inch S6 and S6 edge and 1440p when the launched. I had S10e G970 with 5.8 screen and 1080p and now i have s10 g973 with 1440p screen. S10e and S10 has the same gpu , cpu , dynamic amoled both , the only difference is the resolution of screen and 2gb ram more for the s10. And i can feel the difference when i use the s10 compare the s10e. First the display is clearly better quality , the difference is a lot bigger in a high quality games. And even the ram i can see the difference. I like because of size , i prefer more compact phone , but i buy the s10 because of the display quality , curved screen and 2gb more ram and i can feel the difference.
I wanted to wait for the s22 because was smaller than S10 and S20 , but if they have again the low resolution display and only 8gb ram it would be bad . I would go for S20 5g 12gb ram , i think is the best phone at a decent size.

Jacksonzxop, 05 Dec 20211st thing, s21 does not cost $1000 and neither will the s22... moreThe S21 is $1000 where i live. I don't even care about the Mi 1. Money isn't a problem, but i want to spend it on something that's worth it and the S21 is definitely not worth the price. Maybe if it was like $700 i would have bought it. And speaking of Sony, i tried their phones out but i don't like them. The 21:9 ratio ruins it

babak, 09 Dec 2021if they do you should charge your battery 4 times a day. It's a situation where if they increase resolution but also made the phone compact they'll complain about battery life but if they made it compact with a 1080p resolution they'll complain about the lack of 1440p even tho it's a smaller screen with a really dense ppi. No matter what you do you can't please everyone

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2021 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣I love that they want to make s22 more compact , but stil FHD display is not ok .
Please let this specs with 1440p screen and i would buy it .
I am not really a big fan of Qualcomm's always on camera for Snap 8 Gen 1, so I hope that the Exynos version is actually good this year.
Exynos 2100 wasn't great but it certainly wasn't terrible like its predecessors, so I am a bit optimistic about Exynos 2200 with mRDNA.
i think it's time to leave samsung again. it gets more and more worse again. it's just hard to find a phone what is compact. and i don't know why everyone loves a television at the ear!
Yes same . me two living Samsung. Not going to buy Samsung. Again.
Moving to Sony. Sony offers 1440p display
Smaller screen size is good thinking, listening to feedback. Hope it won't get above 8mm thickness and width hopefully is lower too.
Droping the hybrid telephoto is natural, was awful.
I think they should have done better at selfie camera, I bet this is where Iphones will improve (wider angle?) so they could front run them.
I like the plastic on the back honestly, very practical
again FHD screen ? I understand that they whant to reduce cost , but they can do that on cheaper devices. When you throw with money you whant the best and this screen is clearly not that.

Wanted a premium phone and went through the grind of searching......
This Phone promised a bit of everything. A good processor, Good Camera, Size that fits into the hand and pocket comfortably. I was sceptical after hearing about the plastic back cover after going through so many reviews that I almost did not buy it. I am glad that I finally ignored the reviewers who were complaining and went ahead with my acquisition. The Back cover is attractive and has a nice sheen to it. Also, the phone is very light and offers a good grip.
The photos come out crisp in evening low light or night, just like we see the objects at that time. And the shaky photos are history. The display feels more than adequate and does not give you a feel of a tab. Mind you this phone is a tad slimmer than the rest... I have not seen any lag in any application. There are many features and it will take you a long time to use them all. I got an update to Android 12 and cannot tell any difference apart from the UI controls which also have changed(swirlies, buttons on web pages, etc)
The only slight drawback is the battery..... which lasts for one day.
On the whole, It is a great package from Samsung. It has a 5nm CPU and GPU from ARM packaged into a chipset internally engineered by Samsung. The speed/performance difference between this Exynos chipset and a competing Snapdragon chipset is probably something we will see only on review sites.
The price is a comforting factor and though not easily affordable, does not make you feel as though you have been robbed.
Believe me, you will be pretty popular when quality group photos and group selfies are required
