Anonymous, 09 Oct 2021Irrelevant. iOS is optimised to run faster on less RAM.Right, as with anything apple, lock the hardware and software down. There's a million choices out there, but if you go apple, you have one choice only, more apple.

S serie phones are sacrified with worse specs, because Samsung want people to buy their expensive folding phones...Bad idea, most people don't want to open their phone every time they need to use it. Flip phones are things of the past, just like sliding phones or feature phones...

Can anyone explain the difference between S21 5g Exynos and Snapdragon, battery, overheating, lagging etc., which one is the better option to buy? Because in my country Exynos 2100 is the only version u can buy. Is it worth?

I must say I was quite excited when I got the phone on pre-sale and after a few months started to have a few problems and restart randomly and perform poorly on benchmarks, I follow up on all the steps their customer support give me and the same keep happening when I factory reset my phone..., that's when the nightmare with their customer service begins to book an appointment in their stores to drop the phone (they don't fix in-store) and you should be happy to be left without a phone for 2+ weeks... as according to Samsung who needs a phone for their daily life in 2021...

Should I wait for s22 or buy s21

Hi Scorpio, I've used the S20+ & the Note 10 before this, yes they dropped down the resolution from 1440 to 1080p but things that people won't notice is its still a pretty sharp display plus 1080p on a 6.2" is over 400 pixels per inch & last year to use the 120hz refresh rate you had to switch to 1080p as you can't have both (except on the ultra) so it hardly makes any difference & not noticeable at all. The display quality is still top notch.

I have an s10 and only use 3040x1440 resolution which is sharp and clear. Has the reduced resolution on the s21 caused you any concerns or have you even noticed any difference? Assuming of course that you used the higher resolution on your s20+..

Anonymous, 06 Oct 2021There so many trolls here, saying they will switch to Apple... moreAnd what about S20 when you can choose what you whant fast refresh rate or high quality display ?
I used S10 and S10e and the display quality is clearly better in s10 and the difference is even bigger in gaming video quality and they both have the same cpu , the same gpu . And s10e is 5.8 and can still se the difference S21 is 6.2 so is way bigger .
I use for some minutes S21 and i really like how it moves , it is clearly faster . But the display quality feel cheap seriosly .
At least on S20 you can choose high end quality or high refresh rate.
S21 ultra is a beast when you can have both at the same time , but it is way to big and the price it is understable.
And just not forget on a 5G flagship 8gb ram is not enough , S20 5G had 12gb ram , so another downgrade.

Got the S21 after a disappointing experience from the S20+ & I must say it has really been a pleasant experience so far. This exynos 2100 is so different from the exynos 990, no overheating or battery issues on this one which was immense on the S20+ You need to use the phone first before jumping to conclusions. I always had power save mode on on my previous S20+ which was of no help while on the S21 I never felt the need to turn it on, battery life is really good & they've improved it to a great extent on the S21. As far as the plastic back is concerned it's perfectly fine & makes the phone feel so light, doesn't look cheap at all. As I said in my previous comment it's all about personal preference, if you like it go for it if not there are other options available but for me it's a really good phone.

Do not listen to them, coming from the S10, the S21 may be the best phone i ever had. Plastic is more durable, less finger print loving and this isnt some cheap plastic. Battery is better and the cameras are much better. Also people always forget this phone is much much faster than any other S series phone. And i will take 1080p 120hz anyday over 1440p 60hz. And for a screen of this size, you should be pixel peeping to find the difference from 1440p

For exemple i used 2 phone on the same game with the same cpu , the same gpu , the only difference is that one has 1080p and the other 1440p and in the game the visual quality is a lot bigger than when you use it in menu, the details.
I undersdand that some people prefer 120hz but now you can buy a mid-range phone with OLED FHD+ 120hz , that is display made for mid range devices not for flagship that cost that much.
And if you whant saving battery you don t buy s-series.

Perhaps you use your phone back the front and look at the back when you are talking on the phone. I only look at the face of the phone and could not care less about the back. Who sees it. Durable plastic helps keep the weight down apart from other advantages over glass. But if it suits you better then keep talking into the back of the phone.

For anyone still stuck on the 1080p thing, there are calculators for visual acuity versus resolution out there that are easy to find, eg:

                                        https://toolstud.io/video/screensize.php

With spot 20/20 vision and a 6-7" screen, you have to hold the damned camera up 6-8" up to your face to see the difference.

I'd rather take the power savings and amazing dynamic refresh rate versus something that is practically impossible to ever notice. It's all placebo by looking at the specs unless you have these things glued to your nose all day.
