Perhaps you use your phone back the front and look at the back when you are talking on the phone. I only look at the face of the phone and could not care less about the back. Who sees it. Durable plastic helps keep the weight down apart from other advantages over glass. But if it suits you better then keep talking into the back of the phone.

    For anyone still stuck on the 1080p thing, there are calculators for visual acuity versus resolution out there that are easy to find, eg:

    With spot 20/20 vision and a 6-7" screen, you have to hold the damned camera up 6-8" up to your face to see the difference.

    I'd rather take the power savings and amazing dynamic refresh rate versus something that is practically impossible to ever notice. It's all placebo by looking at the specs unless you have these things glued to your nose all day.

            But s21 plastic back look like a case. It's didn't feel like glossy premium phone .look like cheap plastic . a52 feeling.

For me it's fine as the frosted glasstic feels good in hands, it's more durable than glass & feels light also you get wireless/reverse wireless charging with it, once you put a case on it there's hardly any difference between glass & plastic.

                Why plastic back? Apart from $$$ obviously. I would've picked up this phone but plastic is cheap and nasty for the environment.

                    I went to buy the A52 but ended up buying the S21 as I was completely blown away by its compact size & beautiful design especially the frame that melts with the camera frame. I still bought it after reading all the negative reviews here but MKBHD review was like a fresh breeze. Got October security patch update while setting it up, after downloading loads of apps it didn't overheat yeah it did got warm but that's the case with every phone. The camera is simply awesome, speakers are loud enough, 128 GB is enough for me as I'm not a gamer just want all the social apps. For me I'm happy with my decision by the way I've the exyons version. It's always a personal preference & liking, have a fantastic day guys 😊

                      Have a Samsung S9 . have to say its been a beast of a phone. 3 years old, still going strong, however, iphone Mini 13 has really got my attention. Like others, I'm getting tired of phones always going bigger. After several reviews, seems to me I may be making a switch when the time comes. I have looked at the new Samsung flip phone, and at first I was interested, but believe I'll stay with the bar-form factor. Mini 13 just seems to have a lot of features that, simply put, just stack up in the right places

Year by year there software also going down and having interface like iphone. Like a cartoon .

                        Now why would I buy samsung. I will buy iphone.

                        Iphone 1080 display is far better than samsung 1080p.

                        Iphone look very premium in hand . Samsung using polly carbonet ( plastic back) .

                        Samsung copy similar design like iphone. Then why would I buy samsung now. I will go for iphone.

                        I think samsung will shutdown down in few years like Nokia, blackberry .

                        Every year Samsung sale will go down. Next year samsung sale will go downer more then this year.

                        Samsung TV also have lots of screen blackout problems.

                        2025 Samsung will shutdown.

                        Let's move to iphone.

                            Making bigger size phone. Forcing people to use big size phone foldable phone.
                            I love compact size phone like s20 s10 s9 s8 s7 s6 s5 s4 s3 s2 . I used all of them. S20 was good only heating issues with exynos. After lunching s21 1080p . I stop buying samsung.

                            After s22 lunch with 1080p Downgrade . I think I will be moving to iphone

I wanted some smartphone smaller ... moreMaybe....I'm on samsung note 10 right now from last 2 years and will continue with it for 1 or 2 years more.....and i think samsung will not return with their note series anymore and s series is also on downgrading list being the ultra is only stable one.....but i don't prefer chinese brands that's why maybe it will force me to shift to ios....bcos software support is important to me.......but let's see what happens in future....

                                  I don t think people who are on android will choose ios because ios is way to complicated to operate in , it is a lot harder compare to android .

                                        In S21 you can only choose 1080p 120hz just like mid range smartphone.
                                        Just how some people ( myself including) have Monitor with 1440p 144hz to operate faster and 4k 60hz tv to watch high quality movies.
