They were supposed to make a 4G version of that phone, but unfortunately, they cancelled the project.

JdRDMS, 15 Aug 2021No, wrong. I'm all aboard more features. I'm not ... moreFirst off i have s10e 5.8 inch and a friend of mine has s10 with 1440p screen and guess what the difference it is , yo can tell the difference betwin 1440p and 1080p. I choose s10e because of his size .
And second i have friends that repair phones for a living . And guess what part of a phone is most expensive if you have to replace it ? The Display , you have ideea how expensive are screen quality ? So i don t have any problem with having 1080p screen on a mid range , but when you pay for a high specs you should get high specs.
The point S20 has better features than S21 and you can t deny that.

I have an s10 and I am able to choose which resolution suits me. Yes there is a difference in resolution quality even if only a small one and I choose the highest in order to get the best quality.

You basically gotta have your phone centimeters away from your face to tell the difference. Even if you can see and care about the difference from like a foot away (which most people do a good chunk of the time, and people who do care are rare), there are way too many drawbacks that make it just not worth it.

If you look 1m far for your phone of corse you can t see it. But most time you have very close to your face. Why would were care about to have more features when we could have lower features and bigger price ? Right?

When your phone is close enough to your eyes that you can see the difference between 1080p and 1440p, it's dangerous for your eyes anyway. And if that's not a factor, there is absolutely NO benefit for upping the resolution. With 1440p, you get worse battery life, worse frame rates, lower brightness on LCD displays, and more throttling. I really hope that 1440p displays on phones die soon, they're so pointless.
Also no, you did not say after S6 and S6 Edge. You just said that those phones had bad battery life.

And also that graphics card comparison is one of the worst comparisons I've ever seen, because at least you can tell the difference between 1080p and 1440p at above 20", and no one holds their phone that close to their eyes (and if you do you have other problems to worry about). 1440p does absolutely NOTHING at this screen size but waste battery and push your GPU harder. 1080p also makes it easier to maintain a higher frame rate, which is infinitely more important at this screen size. Samsung isn't taking steps back with this lower resolution, they're finally realizing that it's taking steps forward.

But you don t buy a flagship if your most important thing is the battery . But puttin an 1080p display on that kinda of price on a smartphone is like buying a high end graphic card and play on 1080p screen.6 inch is a big screen and you hold it very close to you eyes you can tell the difference. People complain about a charger who cost 10$ but they did not complain about a screen downgrade that cost more than 100$.

I bought 2 S21 5G phones & i've never had so many problems with a phone. It constantly shuts down in the middle of calls, texting, doing anything, its overheats & when i called to explain the issues they actually expect me to be without a phone for weeks this is the worst customer service & all they have to do is give me a new one or even let me stop paying my balance of $1200 & i'll just go back to my old one. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE

I've had quite a few phones in my life, but no phone had a screen that scratched as much as this Samsung Galaxy S21. It's been three months and it's scractched so much I can barely read on this phone. I never dropped it and I use it pretty infrequently, compared to most smartphone users. It pains me to think I wasted over 800 euros on this piece of garbage.

Why! It's probably just cause the parts of iphones are made by Samsung, and when it comes to brightness, I think the display of the iphone is really good!

I'm happy to be an old fart.
Cannot see any difference between 407ppi (Galaxy 20 FE) , 431ppi (Galaxy a41) and Galaxu s20 (563ppi).
My experience is that with an excellent Amoled screen just be above 400ppi.
In danish we call it "fly fucking" when you insist that marginal differences matters.
