Anonymous, 03 Jun 2021holy crap 529 dollars?!?!! android, never change 🤣😍Is that how much it costs where you are from? Is it just samsung that's that expensive. I find these odd Asian brands like OPPO and xiomi to be more expensive here by me and way less support

They are designed to run with some heat all electronics are. You can run games all day everyday it will be fine. Heat will rise then dispense through the graphite pads which is when you feel the heat it means it's doing its job. Graphite pads most tech enthusiasts would agree is better than copper vapor chambers either way enjoy your phone you paid alot of money for it and it's 100% worth it. Your welcome and love you all

For me it is perfect. Very compact, great cameras and speakers. One UI is very nice to use and 25W charger is fast. I don't play games. Samsung S serie phones are the best, year after year...Will never change mine for any cheaper chinese phone, you get what you pay for.

Yes, flagship phones can stay cool and must stay cool - for €800 that consumers pay.
Don't try to promote phone deficiencies - whether you represent the manufacturer or the hardcore fan base.

Mine is the Exynos variant and it reaches 39-40 degrees Celsius after 60 minutes of video calling. Which is normal. Of course is warm to the touch, but other phones I had in the past reached that temperature too.
My second phone that I have nowadays, even goes more than that in some games (the Poco F3).

If you guys want your phones to stay cool, buy entry level models. Those are usually cooler. They don't have much power though. But hey, you can't have SD870 or SD888 and expect your phone to stay in 30 degrees in heavy tasks. Lol. That will never happen.

I am going cross my fingers, and hope that the S22 series won't have this well documented issue, as I am eligible for an upgrade next year. Apparently plagues Snapdragon and Exynos SoCs. Some say the that the Snapdragon 865 runs hot too. These overheating effects remind me of my BlackBerry Priv handset with it's hot Snapdragon 810 SoC. I heard that S21 models have been software updated to quell overheating problems, regarding positive news.

I've come from the s8+ and now I'm on the s21 5G my only negative thoughts are that's it's really small and the overheating issue, I wouldn't say it overheats but it does get pretty hot but that can happen on any phone when I game like I do.

Besides, if it's somewhere around 40 degrees Celsius is ok. Completely normal phenomenon.
