I never bought a smartphone without micro sd card port! Don't care about the charger,but my 1tb micro sd needs a house .Right now is s10e 256gb internal 8gb ram. I skipped s20 because 128 internal,now I'm skipping s21 for no sd card slot. So Samsung,no thank you!

zoom basically is my concern. I jumped on the Oppo reno 10X at launch and it was perfect on holidays for photo's at the time. Because of other reliability issues and software, I went to Samsung. After several cross brand switches that are horrible for timeline continuity, I intend to stay with samsung for that and software. As I hated the curved screens, I never went flagship though.
Thanks for your explaining, I think the ultimate photo quality of the S21 might beat the FE. Also the weight of 200 gr + phones bothers me with long screentimes, the trade of being 10-12 cm2 smaller screen for the basic S21. If the actual data displayed is the same, I will survive that.
So with finally a flat screen and low weight, I am going to do try the basic S21.

Went to the store to touch the phone all over. I would be sold immediately if there was no chin. But that small one is definitely an improvement over mine S10e.
No useless curved edges, which is a plus for me.
Storage upgrade here costs 2 times less than on iPhones. Tempting.
Can't say anything bad about back cover. But there was only black model there. I wanna see violet and white ones.
Real focal lengths of lenses reported in Photos are 2.2, 5.4 and 5.9mm, which are in line with my calculations. If I'm right iPhone 12 Pro 2x "optical" zoom has focal length of 6mm. So optically "telephoto" lens on S21 is not inferior to zoom on 12 Pro, but it produces wider image over higher resolution sensor.
Digital zoom was ... unpredictable. I've tried covering one of wide cameras to check which one is used for zoom and it looks like the phone can pull 3x crop even from 12MP sensor if it decides so. Ugh. Looks like I'll never be using built-in digital zoom and instead shoot and crop 64MP image.
If I'll like violet or white colors I'm gonna buy it without waiting for sExynos and camera reviews.

Nothing wrong wi... moreLook up thermal properties of plastic. If you use a case on top of it, which you will want to, you end up trapping alot of heat that will keep the battery warmer than ideal.
It's good for battery replacements though, because it's flexible and easier to lift than glass backs.

And here again I have to pass. I really was hoping for this Samsung to making me change my Huawei Mate 20 Pro but really also with 3 year apart this last one seem still better. Real 3x zoom, fast charging, better screen (ok no 120hz ma still good), OIS and autofocus on all 3 camera and premium touch n' fell. Really need now for a new solution but my old boy need to last a little bit more

The carging is 25w?? in 2021?? wow the oneplus 8T has 65W fast charging and its cheaper.
They could have even gone with 35w or 45w fast charging.... Why have the same as last years? the s20 has the same!

Thanks Samsung, you just make me save 850 euros with these specs and that phone that i won't buy. My S20 5G will be perfectly ok for at least another year.
Buying an S6 64GB with no memory card was my biggest mistake, won't do it again...
Seriously, now even Oppo phones have 128 GB and memory card slot for less than 200 euros. And Samsung cannot even give 256GB as basic storage in a 850 euro "flagship" phone, pathetic. S21 is just a midranger with flagship price.

Why are you guys comparing to Mi 11 when it is so much bigger?
If you want huge device then S21 is not for you. If you want smaller device then Mi 11 is not on the list.

When comparing it to last years s20 why are all camera, sound comms same as last years s20? was the camera not improved?
Also looks like the s20 has better screen with 563 dpi.. Why get the s21? whats better?
