OK, we've already got that the hardware downgrades moved Galaxy S from premium to a solid midranger level. Even Exns 2100 failed to show a step up, hardly reaching SD865+.
But without the latest software updates installed, that Arena did for Ultra, this review is kinda pointless:
It shows us a damn bad midranger, and we have to keep guessing if that's a hardware or a software problem. E.g. cameras, with all three rear ones being worse ("god awful" for ultrawide) than the identical S20 cams. (Front cam turned out to be a magic exception from this downsizing trend.)

        don't buy galaxy s21 for cheaper you can buy mi 11 or vivo iqooo7 which is far better and comes with a charger for free.

                justaquestion, 19 Jan 2021hey guys. im looking to upgrade my j7 and im kinda split ... moreI sould choose S21 exynos, SD card isnt a worry as storage is very large (128 GB vs J7 16 GB) as for charger one with USB C can be found cheaply at amazon, make sure its at least 12W or 12 Whats so it charges fast, for downgraded screen, the screen is downgraded fom 1440p S20 to 1080p S21, your J7 is 720p so it will still be better, despite exynos it will still be way faster than the J7 and my mums S10 E doesnt heat up so the S21 shouldnt

Looks like there was a bottleneck for data transmission, so only FHD@120 was transmitted. But using screen in non-native resolution should have made things blurry.
                  I wonder if people complaining about resolution and sharpness are the same that used FHD on QHD screen.

Downgrade is not a big deal, but some people act like its a totally mess, like it make it an unusable phone. Removing sd card is a dealbreaker, not full hd display. The proof everybody used fullhd+ 120hz with last year models, but now some acting like its trash.

                          They're past models of Samsung users. Who had previously models from S7 to S20. They had QHD screens, and now this is downgrade. Also the same happens to micro SD support. This is lame, and this reaction is not hating, but such a big dissapointment. This company does not listen of its customers.

                                  Yes, technically it's a tool, but symbolically it's a fashion statement, a piece of jewelry. You cannot deny that. Otherwise why do we baby our phones?

                                  If you live in parts of the world like Brazil, you'll understand. Everything that you are worth there is largely based on your material status.

                                  In this case, people buy glass-back phones not necessarily because they like it, but because glass is more premium than plastic, which increases their social status. You may say that glass isn't premium, but it is relatively more premium than plastic. Especially if it's high-grade glass. Same for aluminum, there is low-grade and high-grade aluminum.

                                  And regardless of where you live, at least the majority of women think this way (premium smartphone = jewelry).

                                    Haters are so jealous about a phone its so funny. Xiaomi mi10, mi10 pro, mi10 ultra, asus rogphone 3, huawei mate40, mate 30 pro, mate 30, p30 , p30 pro, pixel 4, pixel 4a , pixel 5, oneplus 8 , oneplus 8t , realme x50 pro, vivo iqooo etc.... all theses devices have only fhd+ display and nobody complained. But when s21 has fhd+ you are so mad. You just hate samsung whatever they do.

                                      justaquestion, 19 Jan 2021hey guys. im looking to upgrade my j7 and im kinda split ... moredude either buy a xiaomi mi 11 or the s20 fe if you really want a samsung the s21 and s21plus are really bad phone imo the have 1080p screens 120hz just like the s20 but for way more mone the dont have any very significant upgrades to the camera and the only reason to buy them is if you really want a sg888 on a samsung phone
