Anonymous, 01 Mar 2024Those numbers reflects my real world experience because I ... moreI've had the S22 FE for few days now. Tho i've had many Samsung phones in the past decade or more.
So far, I've noticed the standby seems great. But when just doing basic tasks such as browsing, watching Youtube, looking at the news/weather, downloading apps the battery drops almost significantly I would say. I would say 1% per 5 minutes. I will have to observe more in the next few days as the phone is still learning my usage patterns.
FYI, I'm on the latest One UI 6.0, Battery saving turned Off and have turned off all unnecessary settings that we all know what they are.
Any thoughts?

By those numbers the better experience is quantified and more objective. It is ridiculous to even compare this phone with A class.

What other battery saving tips i need to do to save battery apart from everything that is known out there?

Gino76ph, 26 Feb 2024Sorry but i did not get the metaphor joke. What do you mean... morewhen u put it line to line, and look at it, at screen on and bezels, you will see what I meant. Also SoC of A34 is not comparable to s21 fe. s21 is way way better even than a54 and will be better than a55. Look at numbers.

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2024One plus is an excellent phone…must really be great if you’re randomly recommending it, as off-topic completely unsolicited advice, to someone who plainly stated they were content with their current (on-topic) device…

I have planning for a long time to get this phone because of it's great design and feel in the hand albeit being a few years old now and it's ageing processor.
Most reviews I have read and seen online are saying the same thing: overheating and battery life drain.
But I wanted to ask...Has the overheating and battery life drain issues been resolved after the update?
Is it worth getting this phone in 2024?
