I am about to purchase a new phone and I can't decide between S21 FE (436€) and Pixel 7 (459€).

I prefer S21 FE than Pixel 7 in everything except Camera but that is not important to me. I saw also that Pixel 7 has better battery life (I guess because it is 90Hz screen instead of 120Hz).

I would go for the S21 FE 6GB RAM instead of Pixel 7 8GB RAM but I am scared about that RAM difference.

This is my question, ¿S21 FE (SD 888 and 6 of RAM) or Pixel 7 (Tensor 2 and 8 of RAM)?

    I am using usa version (snapdragon processor), My phone running android 12, Why have not got update android 13.

      - 2021 Flagship performance (still faster than most midrange phones even with the Exynos version)

      - Gorilla Glass Victus protection
      - USB 3.2 with Samsung DeX
      - 32-bit/384kHz stereo speakers
      - An aluminium frame
      - Updates until (probably) Android 16
      - A decently sized battery at 4500mAh

        You can get an hour of extra SOT with 60Hz, though. I'd easily take that over a fancy visual effect.

            Airtel 5g is nsa network so will rely upon 4g as well,

            Jio is SA 5g but relies on 4g for calls

            So stabilisation is required from carrier side also

                No phone currently have 5g only mode, but it can be done manually by downloading netmonster app, click on phone info, then select NR only mode which will force 5G

                I personally force LTE mode only which helps in battery i noticed as modem doesn't have to search 2g/3g network in background.

                  One thing that frustrates me is that this phone doesn't have 5G only mode and switches to LTE whenever temperature increases slightly when using the phone extensively.

                        Honestly I'm totally fine with the battery life at 120hz.
                        Not amazing, but good enough for me. But it's great to hear that you can get more out of it at 60. If I'm ever worried about my battery on a trip I can just tune down the refresh rate and get further with it.

                        I find the phone itself flawless: top performance, beautiful screen, great cameras, great features. Also good build.
                        And best thing of all, I heard that samsung offered 4 android updates on this thing. I just bought it used 1,5 years after it's release and can still expect 3 years of software updates? That is crazy. Fully recommended! You loose almost nothing compared to the fully flagship models, but this thing used now goes way cheaper than it should! ;)

And battery life is not everything in a smartphone. Smartphones are for using and enjoying, not for worrying about battery all time.

I can keep portable charger always, I can charge my phone ten times a day but I can't compromise with features. I want 120, 240, 1000 Hz refresh rate display. More and more features.
